What I can only interpret to be sharing my personal experience across platforms or to anyone else in the universe, basically... apparently Ms Collins lie was not an intentional misrepresentation.... It was an accident? The letter is very serious, to me, it appears to be a gigantic firm intimidating me over a review on the internet to file a lawsuit and take money from me advantageously during my grieving process - I wonder if they sent letters of demand to every person who wrote a negative review about them to have the bad ones removed? They have no recording of our conversation to support their allegations or assertions. They seem to think they are a compassionate firm even though they sent a letter of demand, which seems to be sent to intimidate and strike fear and panic into someone during the time of their mother passing and dying in hospice. I don't think this is compassionate of them. I also think that they should simply have apologized and amended the misrepresentations and in turn I could amend my review to show that they did the right thing and amended the misleading or false statements, which may have directly caused my mother to lose all support and caregiving from my sister. My mother is in hospice dying and Ms.Collins didn't even ask her client how she is doing... in the referenced email - plus the email screenshot was sent to a family group text and they seem to think they are experts in knowing how each member of our family feels about this, and on unnecessary drama. It appears that they do not feel this letter of demand, directly caused by my reviews which were directly caused by Sasha's email and may directly cause my mother to lose support from her daughter, are not unnecessary chaos and drama in our family - I disagree with them. I feel this attorney, Sasha Collins lied about the facts of our conversation to her client, my sister, and caused unnecessary family drama during a painful probate case a probate of our mothers conservatorship while we are all suffering because our mother is dying and has dementia, extremely painful and traumatic for all of us and she lies to my sister and causes more chaos, family, drama, and problems. It is my opinion that she is not aligned with the values of compassion and integrity that this firm claims to have. I am very disgusted and will be Filing a grievance With the state bar of California, she did not receive a phone call from me on this day. She contacted me at my place of work in return to my phone call. She misrepresented the truth and lied to her client, my sister about our correspondence that took place - perhaps she was intoxicated or something? I'm unsure how she interpreted our conversation so poorly. I think email is so unprofessional and lacking in empathy, kindness, thorough explanation of the options, LegalEASE etc I think this is a horrible correspondence to send a client. Despite there being no children involved and minimal disagreements over finances, she demanded irrelevant documents and created unnecessary complications. Ms. Hartley led my husband to believe there were more significant issues than actually existed, which contributed to the unnecessary length and cost of the case. Her actions seemed more focused on generating fees--charging $500/hour--rather than resolving the matter efficiently and ethically. Her approach was neither client-centered nor transparent. She misrepresented the complexity of the situation and failed to prioritize what was in the best interest of either party involved for almost two years. She dined my husband's request for reconciliation and lied to him. If you are looking for an attorney who values integrity, efficiency, and honest representation, I would strongly advise you to look elsewhere. Ms. Hartley's tactics only served to complicate the case and increase costs, turning what could have been a straightforward matter into an expensive and exhausting process. I am pursuing a formal complaint regarding her practices. I strongly recommend against hiring Ms. Hartley, as it will likely lead to frustration, unnecessary expenses, and an overall unsatisfactory experience. I would have chosen a zero star if that's an option. Surprised nobody sued her for malpractice yet. Carla wants portions of my husband's inheritance or house because I don't want any.
