We enrolled her in his essentials class when we first adopted her and it was so helpful! This particular class is NOT treat based (thankfully for us) and dogs are encouraged to learn commands both on and off leash. It is a group class of usually 7-10 dogs and their owners and Todd works with his own dogs to show how the commands should be taught and how the dogs should respond to the owners commands. During the summer, he takes class outside and in the winter he has a great space for training. He also assigns "homework" which includes instructions on how to encourage training at home and in unfamiliar places. We also enrolled Athena in doggy day care at his facility and she LOVES going. Every time we say she is going to see Todd or to daycare, she gets so excited. She enrolled in daycare when she was around 6 months old and she has socialized well with other dogs and she gets training while she is there! Todd also offers grooming on site which you can request is done while the dog is at daycare. His pricing is reasonable and his hours are great and work well with our schedule. He is such a lover of dogs and has really made Athena a wonderful and obedient pup! We will always bring our dogs to Todd!

With dogs with problem behavior John starts with home training sessions. If your dog needs a little extra jump start, he can do in home training at his place, which is phenomenal. After a few sessions it was clear that Chappy needed a complete makeover to ever conquer his fears, and anxieties, and he went off to Boot Camp for Errant Border Collie's at the Earle family home. After a week, Chappy came home a happy, healthy dog, with a complete new outlook on strangers, and my little guy has never looked back. My dog will now approach strangers in public, with his tail wagging and enjoy letting them love on him. This is a complete turn around from the dog that would greet attention from strangers, with barking and growling previously. And then the fabulous thing is, once John teaches you enough to be at an intermediate level of handling your dog, you are invited to attend any of the multiple socialization classes he holds weekly, where you get to meet in a public place like a park, or a store, and walk and hang out John, and often his lovely family, with other dog owners and their dogs, and practice what you have learned while teaching your dog to be out in public, hanging out, not making a fuss, about the other dogs, or people, or any of the stimulation around them. In attending classes I have met people whose dogs John has turned around, with every kind of problem, dogs with dog aggression, fear biters, separation anxiety, you name it. And they all say the same thing, "My dog went from being a problem to being a great dog to be around." And he is equally good with all breeds, I have seen him manage a young Pit Bull with dog aggression issues, who was in intensive home training with him, who walked right next to my dog on our walk during socialization class, without a peep. Then the cool thing is, after a while you will meet the owner at class, and John has trained them to handle their dogs, so that they are confident, comfortable and in control, and enjoying their pet with their new skills. I have also met new puppy owners, and seen him train puppies, of people who are smart enough to get training on the front end before any problems develop. In particular, I had the chance to watch one Australian Shepherd go from an adorable little fluff ball, who was a handful, to an incredible, delightful, well trained, adult dog. One last note, Chappy, and all of the dogs that I have seen at class that have worked with John for awhile, love, love, love him. My boy goes nuts when we get to training, and cannot wait to shower John with love and kisses~ which John returns. When you see him interact with dogs, there is no doubt, you are lucky enough to have found the trainer, with an incredible ability to connect with your dog, and the intuition to know what they need, and to work with them, and you to get the best out of life with your pet.

John has given us the tools to deal with a fear based dog as well as his "instigator" brother. We now know how to communicate to them in the way that they understand. I live in Cudahy and they came to pick my dog in the mornings and dropped him in the afternoons. They've taken my dog to dog parks, various trails, beaches, state parks, and they send pictures and videos to let you know your fluffy friend is happy. They care about where they take your dog too, so if it's super hot out they find a place to cool off for the day while still exercising your doggo. If it rained out, they check the pH levels of the beach to make sure it's safe and will avoid if it's not. They're timely with pick ups and drop offs too, and their super trust worthy; in fact I gave them the key to my house and they were nice enough to feed/water my pup and gave him a treat before they left. To cap things off they're some of the kindest people I've ever met. If you need someone to watch your little tail wagging friend, call these gals. The price is fair, the service is awesome, and I would recommend them to everyone. No regrets.

Linda was recommended by our apartment complex as someone who could come by for mid-day walks when we had long days at work. She came over for a consultation, got to know our pups, and went over our preferences. Since that time, we have consistently trusted Linda with our pups for daily walks, for pet sitting when we leave town, etc. One of our dogs has some health issues and the other has some behavior issues, I cannot overstate how nice it is to know that Linda is taking care of them, allowing my wife and I to enjoy our vacations! She sends us daily updates with pictures as well which is awesome. One time our return trip was extended and I hadn't packed enough food for the boys. Linda went out of her way to go to our preferred pet store and get their exact brand of food! One other perk to note is that she walks our pups with other dogs that they would get along with, so they get some socialization in as well which is so great.
