Zilch. if I use a wrench something gets snapped off. If I have to put in a bolt something gets cross threaded. So, when I go to a motorcycle repair shop I am at the mercy of the writer. They look at my hands and nails and see meticulous fingernails and extremely clean hands because I am involved in the medical field and wash my hand about 150 times a day. I first moved to Sarasota in 1998. I bought two Harleys from a dealer in Sarasota and Manatee County. I dealt with them for approximately five years. Adequate work, but I thought I was getting taken to the cleaners every time. Then I went to an independent who was very inexpensive, but his work was sloppy. He put a six speed transmission in my Road King. It works great, except for the fact that the heel toe shifter never returned to the neutral position, making shifting a chore. About 30,000 miles ago I went to Precision Cycle. The owner, Ron and the writer/mechanic Rob were two of the nicest guys I've ever met. they have excellent mechanics. Ron calles you a couple of days after works been done just to check and make sure that everything is still to your satisfaction. I trust them and Precision Cycle implicitly, and would have absolutely no problem recommending them to anyone.

That was my experience. I have my boyfriend as witness & we were quoted $800 estimate on the repairs. (No mention of labor hours). I dropped my car off at 8:10am on a Monday - I nicely asked Miriam to please call me ASAP with a final cost before proceeding & When my car would be repaired. The ENTIRE business day passed with: zero text. Zero phone calls. Zero estimate. No loaner cars either. I had to hitch a ride home from work and back to work the following day. I called AGAIN, and asked very nicely for a final quote on repairs and ETA. The entire day passes- AGAIN! NO text, No phone call. No quote Finally, as I'm en route via uber to the repair shop at 4:10 pm just before they are about to close I get an invoice for $2,000!!! WHAT?!? When I arrive (shook & nearly in tears) Miriam is hostile & insists she went over this before- pointing & shaking a paper neither me or my boyfriend EVER SAW & 6-7 hours of labor we were NEVER told would be the case. It would have been the professional thing to do- to give me the price UPFRONT like I asked and wait for the green light from me BEFORE proceeding to hold my car hostage for 2 days and then not be nasty at the end.
