Okay- I already loved all things J.McLaughlin online, but finding an actual store (close to my old hometown) was like a dream come true! There are none where I live out west. First, I was offered a glass of the Wolffer Estate Rose "Summer in a Bottle". Delish. Then Helene, the store manager, proceeded to knock my socks off with her excellent customer service. She listened to what I mentioned about my taste, and was very proactive in helping me find pieces that were perfect for me, and that I had never seen online. The J. McLaughlin Clothing store in Bridgehampton is quaint and unique. The presentation of the clothes for both men and women is breathtaking. Their selection of materials are different and practical. The customer service at the Bridgehampton store belongs to the store manager, Ms. Lin Restivo. It is alive and well, thanks to Lin. She is polite, very warm and friendly. Lin will try and accommodate the clients in whatever way possible. For example, if the dress size is not available , she will research and try to find another location, with free shipping. She is a dedicated employee and I can understand why she is a store manager.
