worst waste company ever , gave one star because can't give less, they miss pick up a lot, they leave lids open always so we alwa have a can full of rain water, we use to have waste management last year , this year JP mascaro we pay twice as much and we get bad service, they don't even pick a small item outside the trash can , and our garbage gets picked up at 6 pm so it cooks all day in the sun , worst service company ever. read more

This company treats it's drivers worse than the garbage they haul ! Below pay scale , very dangerous vehicle fleet ! Unprofessional, uncaring management ! This is especially for the Allentown division ! Corporate office should look into this division and do something to appreciate their workers ! OSHA would find hundreds of violations in every section ! No wonder they can't keep good workers there ! That's the main reason the workers don't give a hundred percent ! They're just to damn fed up ! I know that for a fact my husband has been putting up with it for years to pay the bills . Well guess what mascaró New year New Job! I was coming home on election day using my walker and was trying to take back my garbage can. It was a little struggle with my walker along came the trash truck and it stopped across the street and a very nice man hopped out and took the trash can back for me. trashy ass company lazy workers can pick up any of the trash each week toss cans all over place and trash all over roads sidewalks 0.0 we need waste mangment back 0 out of 10 ratinghowdy i agree with you horrible service each and every time they come out toss all trash cans dont want to pick any of trash cause there no bag trash all over the road and side walks nasty workers mascro needs to go i want waste mangent back .I literally load my truck with larger bags and bring them to Carbondale at my parents house because the garbage people in archbald don't take my cans all the time. If it's too heavy, they leave it there or empty the contents into my yard and throw my cans 90% of the time into my yard and out on the street. I don't like to call out people directly like that but it's ridiculous.Funny you should say that, those poor guys walked in back of the truck yesterday picking up the cans and recycled along the street and the edges of everyone's property. Because of where I've lived for the past 10 years, I do not have a choice of garbage collecting companies. This past 1-2 years, we have a new gsrbage truck driver who has damaged my property about 10 times and each time he denies it , even if it was witnessed by me and he damaged his truck so bad he had to park in front of my house. Whenever this happens, I call Mascaro and they do not return my calls. If I could, I'd give less than 1 star. This is horrible business practice. read more

I have just moved to Northeast Pennsylvania a couple weeks ago. I called JP Mascaro and told them that I would have bulk garbage for the next pick up. The woman on the phone was quite courteous and told me thank you for letting them know, but it's not necessary to call them each time I have bulk. The next week, I again had bulk pick up (we're tearing out carpets). I did not call, as per what was voiced on the phone the week before. I had everything out the night before. I did as they asked and cut each section of carpet, etc into 5' or less pieces and taped them to make it easier for the garbage men. They did NOT pick up a single item of my trash. I called and was told that it was just an oversight and that someone would be there later to pick it up. No one ever came. I called the next day, and then the next business day and was told the same thing. By the next week, still no one had come to collect the trash. I called our local municipality where they assured me that they had spoken with the company and promised me that our trash would be picked up the next day. That day came and went without any of the bulk trash being collected. I called the municipality again, and they did nothing to help. I am quite irritated with this company and there is nothing I can do about it. Our trash bill is paid via our taxes, which means, that wether or not the company picks up our trash, they are getting paid. Terrible company! read more
