I'm pretty sure the staff is underpaid and/or volunteer since they are hardly ever open. A worker could wake up with a pimple on his ass and they'll be closed. When they are open, they treat you with disdain and suspicion, questioning every single item you drop off, desperately trying to find a reason not to accept your recyclables. You're better off putting metal items in front of your house with a 'free' sign to get rid of it. They don't accept any Styrofoam packing material any more. They use to accept foam that 'snapped' vs foam that bends. It was hilarious watching them manipulate foam items trying to make it bend so they could reject it. Now, they don't accept any Styrofoam material. I'm sure the gas I wasted driving there multiple times only to find the gates closed negates any benefit of recycling. Website said they were open but they were closed. From now on, I'll just use a Sawzall to cut stuff up and bag it so it ends up in the landfill.

I was very surprised and happy that they paid me $12 for the junk washer machine, as I was expecting to have to pay someone to take it off my hands. They young lady at the front desk was very knowledgeable and helpful providing great service. I went back later that day and brought my cardboard to be recycled. It also looks like they will pay you for your aluminum cans and old computer components, etc. Anything that you're looking to get rid of, I would consider this place.
