There's a nice, small area with chairs on the other side of a windowed wall where parents and friends can sit and observe. The children's class we saw was about an hour long. They also offer teen and adult classes, too. We saw a classmate achieve another belt level -- and what he went through. It gave us an idea of what our grandson had to do to achieve his various colored belts and stripes. It was so nice to see the discipline of everyone; the respect given to the teachers. And the range of ages in the class. As others have said, these classes are not only for discipline and strength training, but also for building confidence. The students are well disciplined and respectful to the facility and each other. This evening's exercises were abbreviated due to one student's graduation session and moving up one belt. Wow, I was amazed by this place. The kids and the kids classes are well taught and the kids all…read morebehave. The adult classes are also well ran and there were different levels of experience. The owner/ black belt (Josh) is charismatic and is so good with kids and teaching as a whole. The other instructors follow Josh's lead with being approachable and willing to help everyone. The gym was clean and offers a safe atmosphere and culture for learning. I've trained at a lot of gyms around the US and other countries, this is by far the best BJJ gym yet. Did I say how well the kids classes were? Geez, those kids were good. There parents can rest easy from fear of bullies at school.
