That's because their expertise and large selection is what matters the most to me. We are new to DIY landscaping and good help and advice is priceless. Several YouTube channels warn against buying plants at HD or Lowes.... and despite their good return guarantees, I waste too much time looking for help and getting the advice I need, and it's a huge pain in the rear to have to dig-up dead plants and return them and then replant them. We ordered stone to put around our house. We went out to them saw the stones we wanted, ordered…read morethem had them deliver all the materials. Came home and saw the stones now according to them this stone is #3 washed. They clearly are NOT washed and as the pictures show not only did we get dirty stones but we also go lots of sticks and chunks of clay. We paid by the pound, so clearly we paid for the stones and all the debris that came with it. I called Simak and told them I was NOT happy with the debri mixed in with the stone. She told me the stones are washed and the sticks and clay chunks were to be expected. I told her when we were out there NOBODY told us that or even suggested this is the way it would come. When I told her I would separate it and then post pictures of exactly how much debris was included in the stones she then said it's because nobody wants to work and "people like me" make them want to shut their doors. She then told me to separate it and weigh it and whatever the weight of the debris is she will then refund that amount but have no more dealings with me. Not professional at all.
