This and many more of his teachings have empowered me to show up consistently and accelerated quickly! Since starting to train here 3 years ago, my whole life has upgraded. My body has strengthened, my mind has become more aware and present, and my confidence has finally spiked! The people that train here are also inspiring, all in their own ways, and they're a joy to be around. I began working out at Port City MMA 6 years ago and my only regret is that I did not begin working out there 6 years earlier. This gym is a family - each member, regardless of his or her fitness level, is focused on making themselves and each other the best possible athlete and person. The kids class (ages 5-18) is amazing. There is one on one training with each child, the children's disposition is accounted for, and each child is affirmed and encouraged each practice. I would highly recommend Port City MMA for everyone regardless of your gender, fitness level or vocation.

This was when Master Hoadley was the owner, and Ms. Cassie was a young black belt. It was he that created the process of learning "Inner Strength" through Tae Kon do, and it is more than evident that Ms. Cassie learned his technique well now that she took over the school since his retirement. My daughter, now 17, is a second degree black belt, and has even attained the place of instructor. So you can come one day a week or 5. I can't praise these guys enough.

February 2025…read more They entice you with a great trial "deal" on a month-to-month deal with NO COMMITMENT - I decided it was a little bit more than what I needed, especially when it came to the cost. It just wasn't feasible for me. I let them know 5 days after signing up - they now tell me I'm locked in and owe a yearly due, on top and the next month amount to a grand total of $80+ dollar. I even called my local club 4 to ask about the cancellation policy just in case it didn't work out for me - I even took screenshots as I was setting up my account trying to make sure I wasn't missing anything. - well they got me!! after sending an email to customer support they point out at the VERY Very bottom I have to give a 30 day written notice to cancel. Come to find out even during a no commitment, month-to-month "trial" you STILL get locked in to paying them a yearly due and of course the next month amount. I do understand that I signed a contract and that that money is due - HOWEVER - you have to admit it is completely false advertisement with the flashy trial with no commitment - They know nobody is going to sit down and read every page of the contract especially after I called and felt confident that the employee gave me the correct information. - Nope on another note, if you planning on joining a gym, long-term, and ready to make a commitment it seems like it would be a nice gym. Not trustworthy within but nice on the outside.

You can tell a lot of effort went into creating the course, and it was fun for both kids and adults. The 18-hole course took us a while to finish, so we definitely felt like we got a good amount of entertainment and were tired by the end. While I do think the admission price is a little expensive, the overall experience made it worth it. The course was clean and well maintained, and I also noticed that parts of it were handicap accessible, which is a nice feature. Overall, I'd recommend Pirate's Cove if you're looking for a fun activity in the area. The price is my only reason for giving it 4 stars instead of 5.

There is plenty of parking and easily accessible location on the Infirmary campus. Two suggestions: 1. A bike rack - so people don't have to lock my bike to a hand railing 2. Longer Sunday hours - only 12-5pm right now.

The studio itself is absolutely beautiful and I loved how the rooms were set up. Mission Fitness offers a variety of workout methods that involve TRX, Barre, Pilates, Row, Yoga, and they even have open gym. If you go to their website, they offer descriptions of all the different classes offered that fall into these categories of workouts. Super informative and helpful when deciding on which class to try! Since rowing classes are my new obsession, I was super excited to try a class at Mission Fitness. Mission Fitness offers a special to try your first class for free, so I decided to try a Saturday morning Core Row class taught by Rachel. I've taken a ton of rowing classes, but this was my first class on a WaterRower. The machines were gorgeous and fun to row on! For the Core Row class, we spent the first part of the class on the rower, the second part on mats working on our core, and got back on the rowers for the third part of class. Rachel was great at keeping everyone energized, motivated, and smiling throughout the workout. We even split the class into two groups and had a fun competition at the end of the class. Team Cab vs. Team Merlot (Go team Cab!) So glad I went to this class, and I definitely look forward to trying other classes from Mission Fitness in the future!
