Throughout these months I have lost about 15lbs (down to 159/160 from 174 when I first began). The environment is challenging and encouraging. Also, the hours changing sucks. Some people work late and cant make it to the gym before 8 on the weekends. And then the employees hawking around you cleaning stuff up when theres still 20 minutes til close. Can totally tell the new ownership is just trying to suck every dollar out they possibly can by cutting hours & employees. And the energy totally reflects this. Hate to see it. The studio itself is absolutely beautiful and I loved how the rooms were set up. Mission Fitness offers a variety of workout methods that involve TRX, Barre, Pilates, Row, Yoga, and they even have open gym. If you go to their website, they offer descriptions of all the different classes offered that fall into these categories of workouts. Super informative and helpful when deciding on which class to try! Since rowing classes are my new obsession, I was super excited to try a class at Mission Fitness. Mission Fitness offers a special to try your first class for free, so I decided to try a Saturday morning Core Row class taught by Rachel. I've taken a ton of rowing classes, but this was my first class on a WaterRower. The machines were gorgeous and fun to row on! For the Core Row class, we spent the first part of the class on the rower, the second part on mats working on our core, and got back on the rowers for the third part of class. Rachel was great at keeping everyone energized, motivated, and smiling throughout the workout. We even split the class into two groups and had a fun competition at the end of the class. Team Cab vs. Team Merlot (Go team Cab!) So glad I went to this class, and I definitely look forward to trying other classes from Mission Fitness in the future!

And they said that Google is in charge of their schedule even though that's not how websites work. Wasted half my day and threw off my plans for the day, all because I couldn't swim during the time that the website calendar and the printout in the lobby that I have a picture of says the pool is open for swimming. I showed up and the swim team was using the pool, but it's not listed on their website or on the printout. They don't provide accurate printouts either.

She got me signed in, helped me pick out a pair of Pure barre socks and explained how the class works. She even offered me a bottle of water since I left mine at home. Gabriella was the instructor and she was phenomenal. I loved the way she explained the moves and assisted us if needed. I how clean and neat the studio was. I will definitely be back.
