The gate city location serviced my daughter's car she recieved for Christmas…read more On Friday July 4th, shortly after the service, the vehicle's "maintenance required" light came on while we were driving, and the engine began shaking severely. Upon pulling over, I discovered that the engine had no oil. I attempted to contact the Gate City location several times that day but received no response. We added four quarts of oil and drove the vehicle home. On Monday, we were contacted by an individual from the company who came to our house to inspect the car and instructed us to follow him back to the Gate City location. He indicated that the oil pan gasket was leaking--however, this issue was not mentioned or even noted in their system during the original service. The manager at Gate City acknowledged that only she and her assistant manager were working that Sunday, and suggested the technician may have forgotten to document the issue. They denied any fault or responsibility, claiming the damage was not a result of the company's service. However, prior to the service, the vehicle was running perfectly, and this issue only arose after it was in their care. I firmly believe this issue stemmed from negligence during the service appointment and the strickland brothers team does not care and denies fault. Although they claim the flushed and refilled the system. Certainly just attempting to mask their faulty service issues that lead to the engine now making the car undriveable. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE

My exhaust was definitely broken by whomever put the second starter in and when my fuel pump went out I had had enough with going back and forth to these masogynistic scam artists. I left an appropriate and well detailed review on google that was replied to by Clyde both on the website and by mail on his letterhead sent to my home which was filled with ignorant male posturing, referring to me as a man (I'm female) and saying I should've came and settled this in person like a real man. He has never once addressed the fact that they broke my exhaust and didn't notify me or fix it. He seems to think it's okay to call what was once a loyal customer a coward and a liar.
