He was very unprofessional, disrespectful and I had to force him to get me a receipt which he scribbled on a piece of paper. I later had to pay an engineer $350, General Contractor and 2 different plumbers $200 to cut a hole and all evaluate what was wrong with the concrete. They all clarified that the concrete pour of the 600 sq ft guest house was awful and missing structural things. It's missing all the required rebar, 6 inches of gravel and the moisture barrier. The 75 ft driveway has also been falling apart for 2 months after the pour and we can't see the mesh/gravel for that either. He lied before, during and after the project that he would put those in the project, and I have text messages and more documents to prove it. Three months ago, I confirmed his 2-year warranty, then requested that he fix these defects since it is a year since he did the project. I even provided him the engineer letter that his work had significant defects. That has been exactly 3 months ago, and he has been avoiding my calls and lying via text that "he will come by tomorrow to work on it." This man also showed up drunk at my house to address updates. I feel like he stole from me, lied multiple times and was disrespectful about it.
