We went to Jab's Mega fire works they had a great selection and I liked the fact that beside most of the fireworks they had a TV monitor where you could actually see what you're buying in action. I thought that was very cool and they were very generous at checkout as they were giving away other fireworks, depending on the amount of money you spent I was not expecting that at all! The stuff you could've gotten in maryland is in the back left, but has some low key gems if you look through it. We were definitely NOT disappointed! We went two weeks before July 4th lots of inventory. The prices did go up somewhat within the two weeks apart. I told my husband to let's get our merch the first time we went. However, we waited til July 3rd it was packed to the max low inventory long lines price increases. But that's the price you pay for waiting. The staff was helpful apologetic and friendly. Military discounts. Private parking. Updated store making for more floor space more inventory out on shelves. Two packs we bought $230 last 1 hr. Our boys were happy and that's all that matter. This place was so cool! Im from Cali and fireworks are illegal there which really sucks. I walk in and am like, damn its like costco for fireworks. The employee laughed. They asked what I was looking for I said I had no idea because I havent been able to do fireworks in Cali in over 25 years. But we went with friends who have lived here for a while. Of course once you move here you wont ever go back to liberal Cali. So we went down each isle. Yes very pricey. But my friend was like a kid in a candy store. For the selection and staff, this is a must go. Very nicely organized into different sections and displays at each aisle showing the fireworks as they get set off...just see what you like on the TVs and pick em out in the aisles. I didn't travel with my camera on this trip, and I really hated that when I saw this business all lit up at night coming off the interstate. My visit was the next day. I have to admit I know nothing about fireworks, especially living in the limited legal fireworks state of North Carolina. One of the clerks was most helpful. I mentioned that I would be buying fiireworks for a North Carolina teenage boy. The clerk immediately took me to a section of the store and said "this section has legal fireworks for NC." He also asked about how much I wanted to spend on fireworks, and when I told him the amount, he grabbed a shopping basket, made several selections he thought a teen would enjoy, and the total was $ .15 over the amount I said. I appreciate a clerk that knows the merchandise. The store was clean and helpful clerks were abundant. Over the years, I've been in several fireworks places thanks to my husband's obsession with his own shows. (Can't complain-- I love seeing them!) This is by far the best store I have been in. Their prices are fantastic! It doesn't have that creepy (sex offender-like) vibe that so many places have. Even their bathrooms were clean. There are big LED TV screens hanging from the ceiling every few steps that play videos on loops of the displayed fireworks. This REALLY helped us make a decision, knowing exactly what I was buying. It was a little smaller, but you wouldn't know it based on the available inventory. The staff was so knowledgeable and friendly. Spent over $400 bucks. Got so much fireworks. This was my first time buying my own fireworks and I have to say they had isles in this store filled with different types of products on the shelves. There were so many I started feeling so lost and didn't know what to think of how each one looked after lighting one off. But then after trying to think and imagine, I notice all the flat screens around. They have so many flat screens showing each firework and like a little show to represent the firework so you can see what it's like. So after seeing the shows of each of the fireworks on different tv screens I definitely felt more comfortable and had a better idea of which one does and the different designs and colors of the firework after they shoot up into the sky. So then I got to choose the fireworks with my Wife that we both agreed on and the ones that we liked a lot. After spending a certain amount at the register up front we got a deal with a certain amount of percent off for being over a certain amount. So we got $40 bucks free to spend and got to choose more fireworks for free with in that $40 free for that discount. It was awesome. So the more you spend the more discount you get I think. I really liked that deal. Anyways my wife and I had a fun time at this shop and exploring all the different isles in the store with all the different fireworks that they were selling. Love this place. As suggested in another post, the staff was very good at helping us to find everything we were looking for and making great suggestions for other things we might like. Jeff in particular had loads of great firework stories for many of the items they sold and was fun to listen to. They had monitors everywhere showing the products in action and that helped tremendously. Almost a whole row dedicated to one of my favorites (Saturn Missile batteries).
