BUYER BEWARE!!!!! I have so much to complain about that I could write a book. First, it appears Jack Carroll has treated many others the same way he has treated my family and I....like crap! I have had to contact the police on multiple occasions and file a police report on this man for constant harassing and threatening phone calls. Ive even received threatening phone calls and insulting text messages at midnight and 5am in the morning from this man threatening me to take down negative reviews that I never posted. I have proof of everything I have stated just for the record including.... 1) proof that I paid for him to represent me even though he denies this in all his reviews with everyone 2) Proof that here are fake 5 star reviews online of individuals (or maybe even made up clients) he NEVER represented 3) Proof of a police report was made to pursue criminal charges against Jack Carroll 4) proof that he lies about his perfect record. If you contact the Texas Bar Assoc. he has two grievances against him on file. 5) proof that he was reported to the BBB. 6) proof that he has sent insulting and harassing texts and calls to my family 7) proof that he has sent numerous insulting texts and threats to me, his former client. LIARS are CHEATERs and THIEFS.... Jack Carroll is a pathological liar.......... All of this information above is true and I have a file full of documentation to prove every statement I make. Before long this deceptive attorney will be faced with stiff fines and more than likely be suspended from practicing law. At least he does admit attacking and trying to sue his former clients. The idiot thinks hes the victim! Look at yourself in the mirror, Carroll! Jack Carroll is the biggest fraud in Houston. What is wrong with this sociopath??? He is simply a very disturbed individual who refuses to take the medication he needs and seek mental treatment. Also, Jack lies about representing people. He seems to blame everything on one person, yet if you read the review of Dr. Rabanni it sounds EXACTLY like what Jack did to me in my case. He NEVER, EVER returns phone calls, shows up late to court and cant finish the job like he thinks he can. He also has no relationships with those in the courthouse, but tells you that to increase your chances of hiring him! When my family begged Jack to answer my phone call that he was ignoring for months and pulled money out to give to him, this low-life actually had the audacity to take the $20 even after he was hired! WOW! That's pretty pathetic! This shady attorney will NEVER take responsibility for his actions and own up to it. This is why I post this review and want to make it clear to Houston that Jack Carroll will never change his ways of operating unethically....EVER! I truly believe Jack Carroll is a very disturbed man. He lies so much I don't believe he realizes when he does it. Over the years Ive seen dozens of negative reviews about Jack Carroll removed and its because he will threaten to sue and go after the people that speak out honestly of their very poor experience with this con-artist. He's even threatened to try to press criminal charges against former clients. UNBELIEVABLE wouldn't you agree??? I hope this review gives you an understanding of the character of this very poor individual who hopefully wont be able to practice law much longer..... You can sue me if you'd like Jack Carroll and get nowhere. Good luck! Try and learn the law...... Were protected by the first amendment! After my Husband was arrested I had no idea what to do. I tried calling several different attorney's and no one would pick up the phone. I was falsely charged with a horrible crime and i interviewed  several firms before hiring Jack and Phil.  They don't advertise, a close friend referred them, the other lawyers were from the internet. They have a remarkable number of not guilty jury verdicts, the cases were easy to verify because they listed the court and case number, none of the other lawyers provided that information. Jack is very well connected and of the 3 different judges involved in the case all seemed delighted to see Mr. Carroll. Phil is extremely sharp and personable and the young prosecutor treated him with great respect. Mr. Carroll was referred to me by one of my best friends who had his Dwi2 case dismissed. I almost didn't hire him because of his 2 horrible reviews on Yelp. I called my friend and after laughing he explained that a stalker/nut has been writing bad reviews using a false name on Google and Yelp. He said to scroll down on Yelps first page and in itsy bitsy little and almost transparent letters if you click on them it will take you to a second page where the good reviews are. The nuts father Brian Altobello wrote a great review that's on the second page. Anyway I hired Jack and Phil-who has a heart as big as he is-and they got my B.S case dismissed by the Grand Jury and I didn't even have to go to court. These guys are good, real good. read more

Phil is very good at returning phone calls very quickly and responding to text msgs immediately. He always takes his time to explain steps and best option for the case.
