Bought my home from a new agent, they treated me pretty good. fully disclosed everything in writing…read moreahead of time, my two older brothers ended up using them. They're local and usually know all of the area in harrisburg, camp hill, mechanicsburg, enola, new cumberland, middletown, and lebanon. my realtor was a new lady named Sherry E. she really helped me out and explained everything to me as a first timer. Looking back they really made it easy, did a free credit check, drove me around to different properties, looked at everything i was interested, and didnt push me into buying something that i couldnt really afford. settled on a nice 90K ranch in the greater linglestown area. and it worked out very nice. mortgage payment is less than 550 dollars and have a great fixed rate. Thats less than what some people pay for an apartment. i was approved for about 85 - 95K depending on down payment. we looked about about 15 homes. then though, especially towards the end, our realtor was getting slightly impatient. but lucky for us, we saw our current home, and placed a bid on it that very same day. they have brand new office that's located on north mountain road in linglestown, next to the middle school. it also has a lot of smaller related type buisinesses like mortgage companies and title companies and so forth.

He listens, he cares and gives you confidence that he will do what it takes. My family was recently in a position where we were not really wanting to sell and he walked through it for me and with me making a very difficult time more bearable . We were able to take the house off the market and not sell at this time but when the time is right we will definitely choose Chad, an agent who really cares and gets the job done !

Met Elizabeth the property manager for the 2nd time. She was amazing! Extremely knowledgeable & professional. She took the time to really talk to us about the complex. She gave us options within our date & price range. While the outside of the houses needed a power wash, I appreciated the fact that Elizabeth presented it first and said she was working on getting it down within the next quarter. The 1 bedroom apartment she showed us was very nice. The master bedroom was located upstairs. Kitchen cabinets was renovated to a beautiful cherrywood finish. Unfortunately, we didn't take the apartment only due to the other apartment was a better proximity to employment location. Would highly recommend speaking to & requesting tour with Elizabeth.

This place was never great and is quickly going even further down hill. The siding is falling off…read morethe buildings, and the grass which used to be cut weekly has not been cut in weeks. The other reviewers are correct when stating snow removal takes a long time, and getting stranded is a very real likelihood. The office staff changes constantly and most are typically rude and unprofessional. Maintenance parks in resident spots which is just wrong given they have a designated area to park. Maintenance leaves piles of old appliances in the parking lot by the dumpster that sit for weeks before being removed which creates an eyesore for the community. Lastly, my heat pump broke in December and I was running on emergency heat. it took them until March to attempt to repair the pump and ultimately purchase a new one. Unacceptable.

There have also been other things that need fixed and have been informed that nothing will be fixed until the end of my lease which is another 3 1/2 months. I have some leaks in my apartment. These issues have now made it unsafe for my grandson and family. I am in the process of looking elsewhere to move. I have been in contact trying to get these items fixed to no avail. They will either tell me they are documenting it or that someone will come out but no one ever shows. I pay my rent every month. I have also had to endure the smell of marijuana smoke coming into my apartment being told to use air freshener. The foundation is falling. I will be moving and getting my security deposit back and running far away.

But over time, the company has become unprofessional, unresponsive and thieves. The home that I live in doesn't have proper heating and the fireplace is broken. The slum lord, Michael Scovitch, refuses to pay to have the heating system fixed properly or the fireplace. First Capitol, especially Kris and Nicole are very unprofessional. They do not answer phone calls, text messages or return calls because they know they are in the wrong. First Capitol doesn't provide you with any prices for repairs and randomly makes up prices to bill you. The garage remote was misplaced on 12/26/21 and I asked them to replace it and they told me it would cost around $50 but 4 weeks later, there is an invoice on my account for $258.26. I called and texted Nicole and Kristine multiple times requesting that they provide me with copies of receipts and proof that it takes 4 hours to purchase and reprogram a garage remote - it doesn't and they know it doesn't which is why none of them have responded and they continue to ignore my calls and texts. I work hard everyday for my money and First Capitol works hard everyday to lie and screw people over! This is one of the most low down, dirty, scheming and trifling companies I have ever come across. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THEIR SERVICES TO ANYONE!!! They are corrupt, thieves and liars!
