I've been to this Jack-in-the-Box three times in the evening before 10 PM and they say they're closed or no one shows up to the window.

If I could give it a 1 star or Zero, I would!! We came in, waited about 10 minutes to even be greeted to order. Then, when we did order, we waited 24 minutes to even get our food but only because I HAD TO ASK for it. But here's the kicker!!!.... when they served our food they left one of their LATEX GLOVES on my sons burger. Who by the way, is allergic to LATEX. They did nothing except say, "oh how did that get there??" When I asked to speak with the manager (and so did another gentlemen who had been waiting 20 minutes). We were told there wasn't a manager on duty. I have never been to any restaurant, let alone a fast food restaurant, and had to deal with something like this. I ordered a chicken sandwich (the number 10 to be specific) and got a rock hard and extremely thin chicken sandwich. I literally couldn't eat any of it because it was too hard to bite through even though it was thinner than the value burger patties. read more

This is the slowest Jack in the on the planet. "Fast Food Fresh" is great and all - but not when it takes forty five minutes to get lunch. Pair that with a hungry toddler who just wants chicken nuggets, it makes for a rough afternoon. Additionally, the restaurant was filthy. The floors were sticky, the tables were covered in crumbs and napkins and it felt very neglected - which was odd considering how empty the restaurant was. We won't return here, no matter how hungry we get. read more

well i've gone here for a while and the food is not bad at all, but i was going through the drive through (i normally go inside) to get an ice coffee, and trust me the coffee was good as sh*t but there were BUGS on the NOW HIRING sign??? idk, it was pretty gross. the bugs were both dead and alive, i could clearly see at least one crawling around on the sign INSIDE of the facility, not on the outside of the window. read more

I've been living in Happy Valley since 2007, and been going to this Jack in the Box location for a long time. These past 2 years there customer service has gotten so much better. I go there a lot and not matter who helps me at the drive thru they are all very professional and never miss anything on my order. They are very fast too. I've never waited over 10 minutes. The staff is always happy, even when you stop by at mid night, they don't sound sad and felling asleep but energetic and welcoming. Highly recommend this location! read more

Went in and ordered a Spicy chicken combo. Food was fine. I drink Ice tea with lemon. I was given the cup and filled it with ice and tea. I went back up to the counter and asked for Lemon. The counter help/cashier went off and came back with two pieces of lemon in a paper holder. I took them and went to my table. When I removed the two wedges from the paper they were moldy. Not just a little moldy but covered in green mold! The name of the worthless scum that gave them to me was Tristan. He was not wearing a name tag so I had to get his name from the manager. When I showed her the moldy lemons she apologized and told Tristan to throw them away. She didn't offer to refund my money or anything except direct me to a phone number to complain. I left in disgust and will not return to Jack in the Box ever again. YuK! I did send an email to corporate headquarters and to Phoenix Health Department. Me And My son came to dine at jack in the box off of 2113 west happy valley road after shopping for his Halloween costume and To get things started off we had ordered and sat for a total of 45 minutes before we mentioned if our food was done. They said it's almost ready. We got our food 15 later and my son received a Latex Working Glove on his burger. We were disgusted as my son is allergic to latex and could have had a serious problem if he ate the burger. We ate and they made him a new one after 30 minutes. I would not recommend coming here as they did the same to all the costumers. read more

This place had a horrible smell to it when we walked in. It smelled as if their sewer was backed up. Our orders were all messed up and they didn't care. My burger was very hard and the bread was stale. Just as we were leaving the kid working the register hopped over the counter and went outside and pulled his car up on the curb and plugged it in to charge it. This also blocked us from getting out of the entrance. Very bad experience. read more

I ordered the 2 Jumbo Jacks meals , and my Husband and I got so sick , lets just say we lost 5 pounds in 2 days , felt like we were going to die.. I called Jack in the box and the manager said she would have the store manager call me, but I never heard from him or her.. I will never eat there again even if they paid me.. My hubby went to the doctor and confirmed it was food poisoning , I could not get out of bed..My husband lost to days of work thanks to Jack in the Box. Jack in the box serves a purpose at 1 am when you are starving, I give it a 3 star A-OK review. Not sure what's in the tacos but at that hour they are the best ever. This location is new & clean & service in drive through is always good. Good selection of different food options & breakfast is pretty good here. This maybe the best fast food out of the old school places. In & Out or Chick-fil-a blow this place away but they aren't 2 minutes from my house either. read more

From out of town and wasn't expecting much as our Jack in the box is terrible. Just got two tacos and they were surprisingly good and came on a nice little tray. Service was excellent and the restaurant was very clean (including bathroom). Food was a little slow, that's the only reason I took off one star. Ok first off I'd like to explain that I have been coming to this Jack in the Box for the past 5 years around the hours of 2 to 3Am and have always been greeted and assisted with no issues, but just recently since Omar has been working the night shift the drive thru has been closed every night. The Fist time this happened he told us he was under staffed and could not make any food, when asked when the next person came in he did not have an answer, So I guess you are just paying someone hourly just to let people know the 24 hour drive thru actually isnt a 24 hour drive thru like it is advertised on the window and online in big bold letters. Second time we went there probably 3 days later, Omar of course said the same thing around 2 am ( I know it's late ) I was told the same thing , SO we pulled out of the drive thru because we saw the employees hanging out outside. There was a car that pulled in not 1 minute later after us and we didn't see the car behind us pull out yet so we figured they got served. So we saw the employees finish their cigarettes and head inside, we went thru again at this time it's been approximately 3 minutes since we went through the drive thru , we pulled up and instead of saying they were closed again they were ready to take our order. I guess you have to come at the right time to get served at this establishment when the employees are not busy doing their own thing. We told Omar that we were the car that just came through before not even 3 mins ago and was told we couldn't be helped. He continued to give us excuses saying he was waiting for his other employee that was late, let alone he didn't know we were watching them smoke cigarettes instead of working. Anywho 3 days later we came around 2 am and were told the same thing.. this time I told him I'd ask his manager if he knew this was going on and Omar began to get angry at me for confronting him about this situation which has occurred multiple times already, I told him thanks anyway and pulled around just to see him outside yelling at me in my car saying " I'm not scared of you!" " come here!" The thing that angers me is the fact you "say" you're a 24hour restaurant and you don't Honor that. I get maybe you have to clean or what not for 10-30 minutes but you can't tell me you're not taking anymore orders for the rest of the night and that this company is just paying you just to tell people that you're not open even though you're "24 hours " and then also have your employees run outside and threaten me because I said I would talk to the manager tomorrow. I don't know how this jack in the box is supposed to be ran, but honestly this is unbelievable, I have never had this happen to me at any other establishment and have never felt threatened by an employee because I want to order food between the times that you are supposed to be open at. read more

The guy at the window charged me over $4.00 for 4 tacos. When I got my change and confronted him (still without receipt) he said "you're right" and gave me another $2 back. I called the number on the window, but it turned out it was for a spinal institute. I called the manager and he gave me a number for a sex hotline. When i called back, he was very apologetic, but upon repeating the number and calling again, I confirmed that the number he gave me was for a sex hotline. Out of options, I googled a J in the B customer service number and called, but the number was only a voice recording telling me to file a complaint at Jackinthebox.com. As far as I'm concerned, this is gross incompetence. Something that I would have easily written off as 1 bad employee ripping me off has quickly become a vendetta against an incompetent and defunct company that can't handle something as simple as one complaint. I am considering filing a complaint with the BBB, and I would just like everyone to consider how ridiculous it is that I have to go that far with concern to a 'restaurant' that I was already expecting subpar food and service from. Again, I can't believe I'm even on yelp writing a review, but at this point jackinthebox has earned a personal vendetta against shear, unprofessional bullshit. read more

This was perhaps the worst fast food experience I have ever had. Took 25 minutes to get a chicken pita and fries. Unbelievable. There were two disinterested workers who could care less and this was on a Saturday night. Mcdonalds has nothing to worry about with this kind of service. When my pita arrived the chicken was cold, lettuce wilted and no tomato on the wrap. Other customers had a worst experience than me.v obviously there is no supervisory oversight here. Avoid this location at all costs. There are better fast food options in this area. read more
