Terrible experience. Jack can be charming but he is often arrogant, obnoxious, verbally abusive, and culturally insensitive - to his own clients! He did not advocate for us and was not invested in our case. Additionally, he and his staff have terrible communication patterns. They do not answer emails, will not call you back when you leave messages, and Jack insists that you come to the office every time you have a question, but then keeps you waiting endlessly. For your own sanity find a more responsive, helpful, and respectful attorney. read more

This guy is a clown, I used him years ago for an eviction case, he was good at taking my money and letting the case run on as long as possible, He was trying to help the tenant that I was trying to evict more that helping me, he even tried to have my case thrown out, just so I would have to pay him to restart it and give the tenant more time, as my money was running out. 2 years went by the judge was helping me because even she could see what I was dealing with, the judge made the tenant pay me all the money he owed me, but the lease was still in effect. I got another attorney after finding out the Jack had a case with the same tenant in the past and his secretary had some kind of relation with him, the other another attorney and got the tenant out. Everytime you ask him a question he redirects the topic about wanting the lease to be completed. He doesn't want to negotiate on your behalf. Most importantly withheld vital information. I called to leave him my name and number I was on hold for 10min and when she came to the phone she said what's your number took my number and hung up the phone so I called back and asked her who is he suppose to call back if she didn't take my name .after that with an attitude she responded okay so what's your name smh ... it seemed like she was on the other line with T-Mobile because I head the T-Mobile props on speaker .... He may know what he is doing but he is dismissive if your case is small. He neglected my case for 7 months and now I have to file a grievance and go through a hassle to get my case out of his hands and into the hands of another lawyer. I will also have a hard time getting my hard earned money back that I dipped into my retirement to get. He is also pretty nasty, unprofessional and abusive to his staff and clients. I was waiting for my 12 noon scheduled appointment for about 20 minutes when I overheard him talking about me. The staffer said my name and he was like who the heck is that. Then he proceeded to say how he doesn't have time to talk to clients all he has time to do is do the work (which he has not done). Then he told the staffer to throw me off to some other staffer. When I was leaving Queens Housing Court with Jack Glasser, a court officer came up and said that "Jack was the best housing attorney in the building." And he is, even if I wasn't the best tenant he represented. The only problem you will have with attorney Glasser is that his officer is usually crowded with clients who want to hire the best. Don't take chances with other attorneys. From my experiences there, Housing Court is a snake pit and free court appointed attorneys (if you can get one) are zeros. Hi everyone Let me start off this review by saying that when I went to see Jack Glasser he was the 3rd lawyer that i went to see regarding my case. I had signed a stipulation ( with no legal advise) that I would have to leave my apartment by a specific date. when I went to see Jack I had only 9 days left In that agreement. The other 2 lawyers told me that they couldn't help me cause I signed the stipulation and that I had move by the specific date. But not Jack his expertise in his field of law found a way to vacate the stipulation I signed. If it wasnt for Jack I would have had to leave my 2 bedroom apartment that I pay less than a thousand dollars for In queens. But cause of Jacks knowledge of the law he was able to vacate the stipulation I had signed and put me back to square one with my landlord again. Then my landlord then took me to trail to try to get me out of my apartment as a holdover. I want to say that Jack's presence, knowledge and control of the court room is great. And during our trail my landlord had a hired Gun come to court( a piece of shit doctor who lie on the stand for money. My landlord paid $4000 for this doctor) well it didnt go well for them with this hired gun cause Jack really took it to him on the stand. But where I'm from we like to say MR Glasser tore his ass up and exposed him as a hired Gun and a liar. I believe my landlord threw that $4000 away for that doctor thanks to Jack. And to top it off Jack's closing statements in the trail was great and he destroyed the landlords lawyer too. It looks like I'm going to able to stay in the apartment. I can't believe it.
