    Sausage egg croissant. Yummy
    Chris J.

I have come here w my parents off and on for quite sometime. The doughnuts are fairly good. I like the kolaches pretty well. The jalapeños are very good. There are two sizes and jalapeños and plain. My mom loves the coffee there are bottled drinks and I believe fountain ones. The kolaches can be heated in a micro. There is a three dollar minimum for using a credit/debit card. It is a smaller store w drive thru and carry out and some seating there. I love the croissants w egg cheese and bacon. Another option is w sausage. Everything foodwise was homemade. My only complaint is a minor one. The diet soda in bottles is a bit old much of the time. The cartons of milk are great and my wife enjoyed the Starbucks bottled drink. I believe there are other stores in a few cities near Waco. I have seen one in Lorena and Mcgregor as well. I like this shop as well as many other mom and pop family type restaurants around town. Good food and a great price!!!

    Sausage kolache.

Ordinary pastries at cheap prices. Friendly enough counter lady. A couple pastries & a 16 oz cup of coffee cost $4. Pastries are soft doughy bread with minimal ordinary fillings. Sausage kolache hid a tiny sausage & a smear of cheese-like food product. Glazed donut was way sweet of course. But they don't cost much, so you're getting what you pay for. Coffee was fairly watery & weak on flavor. At this price it's about what you'd expect.

Clean tidy restaurant with well stocked display case and freshly made product. Coffee is weak and insipid. The staff and owner are cheerful and efficient, and very patient. Local small biz vibe and loyal regulars come to hang out over coffee and a donut. The chocolate frosting on the donuts is much creamier and applied thicker than most other shops in the area. The sausage link in the large kolache is huge and snappy, and has the right ratio of cheese and jalapeno. Certainly a great way to start a searing Texas Summer day.

Delicious cake donuts. We were a little disappointed with the glaze twist. Everything tasted fresh and the coconut was the big hit!

I've never had a kolache before and these were amazing. The donuts are made fresh every morning, and they are wonderful!

We've wanted to visit the Magnolia Silos in Waco for a while now and so happy for the chance. The drive to Waco was just under 2 hours from Austin. We stopped at this cute & quaint bakery after visiting the Silos & before heading back to Austin. There is a charming area to the side of the building with several tables covered by umbrellas & surrounded by potted plants. It was too hot to sit outside! The interior is small but nicely decorated. There was a line but it moved rather quickly. The young lady behind the counter was sweet & helpful. We ordered a chocolate cupcake & a lemon lavender cupcake to go. It was packaged in their signature container. The cupcakes were both so good but the Lemon Lavender was a favorite! Both were very moist & flavorful. We wished we had ordered more!

Since Magnolia is such a brand, they could easily get away with fairly middling goods, but it's nice to know that whomever is in charge of desserts is a Type A kind of person who shall not abide crummy treats. My giant cupcake was the kind of good where I kept nibbling from it all day long, and the next day, I was sad that I hadn't bought another. The friend I was with had gotten a cupcake, and even though she isn't usually into cupcakes, she said this convinced her otherwise.

All the articles on Pinterest and reviews were spot on stating this is a must to stop by on your trip to Waco. We were greeted when we walked in and she was SO nice, I believe she's the owner! They had a cute gingerbread house competition going on & you could vote for your favorite house. The Christmas decorations were amazing. But the feel was cozy and modern with a rustic touch. SO CUTE! All the details. The cookies are massive and they're INCREDIBLE! Out in California the closest thing we have to this is Crumbl. There is no comparison. Additionally, I would way more prefer to spend my hard earned money supporting small business! My mom and I each got a cookie. We wanted to bring something home to the family so we bought one of everything. The owner was so sweet and went above and beyond. She individually wrapped each cookie and placed it in a box with crinkle paper to protect them. They made it all the way back to California and we didn't taste test them till about three days later. STILL FRESH AS COULD BE! So impressive. I will be a forever costumer moving forward! Thank you so much for your kindness, amazing cookies, and great service! If you're in Waco, this is a must!!

Magnolia Press is their house coffee shop serving up all the coffee house classic beverages and snacks. Beverages were all the basics with a few specialty drinks, both hot and cold. The food was standard breakfast sandwiches and pastries. Prices for everything were moderate, but expected. I went with an iced mocha and chocolate croissant, while my partner went with a breakfast croissant. The food came out a few minutes before the drink, so we munched on the goods while we waited for the coffee. The food was good and the drink was tasty. It hit the spot for sure! The flow can get a bit backed up depending on how busy the baristas are...and they were busy! We waited a longer time after ordering than we did in line to order, but neither wait was egregiously long. Once we got the coffee, we made our way outside to the courtyard. We passed the small, but cute dining room. The space is gorgeous, perfect coffee house and Magnolia vibes. Overall, great entry point to the market. Lovely vibes and decent coffee!
