Located in downtown McGregor, TX is this little gem of a sweet cafe. This cafe gives cozy vintage & retro colored vibes with handcrafted cupcakes to enjoy. Plethora of cupcake flavors to choose from and beautifully decorated. Each flavor has its own unique name and they have labels to let you know what the flavor of each cake/icing. We grabbed the Vanilla S'mores, Lovely Lemon, and Lemon Lavender and this was enough to fulfill our sweet cravings. The staff was upbeat and kind to match the aesthetic. I do not do reviews for free items, coupons, freebies or favors; if so, why would it be an honest review? I stopped here quite a bit ago. The atmosphere and set up was quaint, liked it. The cupcakes, for the prices were not special, nor spectacular. The cupcakes were smaller than the average size, looked somewhat decorative, and there was actually no real flavor, no wow factor, especially for the expensive prices. It seems that they were made with inexpensive cake mixes from a box, but I have been known be wrong too, it could of been a better cake mix from a box. McGregor is a small town with not too many locally owned businesses, but I myself would drive further for a better, regular sized product, again to just to justify the cost of individual smaller cupcakes, not packed with flavor, bland. It is what it is. I will not be back to this cupcake place, there's much better out there. read more

I moved away from Waco over 5 years ago, but i still remember Cuppiecakes. I lived out in woodway, so i would make my mom take little me here every Friday. I think about this place all the time and would love to visit again. The cupcakes were (and probably still are) amazing and the atmosphere was very welcoming. Wedding cake was my favorite and is really good. I definitely recommend this place to anyone traveling through central TX. read more

Literally the BEST cupcake I have ever had!! Not really a big cake fan, but I would eat the Betty White Cupcake every day of the week! They make their own candied pecans in house of which they topped my delicious cupcake with. The fancy nuts were crispy and amazing! Plus, the decor is just too darn cute! They have retro furniture including a sofa giving it a 1960's apartment vibe. There are miniatures throughout, including a charming little mouse door at the bottom right as you exit the store. They also have many other treats available that are delightful as well. This is a must visit if you are in the area! read more

Ordered the most delicious birthday sheet cake sight unseen for a family reunion. It was moist, flavorful and gorgeous!! It was decorated by Susie with dozens of buttercream flowers in so many colors, it received gasps from the guests! Reasonably priced and ready when requested, too. I recently celebrated a birthday & I specifically requested vanilla cupcakes with vanilla icing from Cuppiecakes. My mom & husband totally delivered (so exciting!) and Cuppiecakes exceeded my expectations and totally deserves all the great reviews!! My wife, kids, and I stopped by for a treat while passing through town. As much as they cost, $2 each, they should at least be edible. My kids eat anything but would not even finish them or the icing. The names of the items sound good but that's about it. read more

Both the cupcakes and cake pops were amazing! I had the cookies n cream cake pop, it was very moist and freshly made. I also had the cupcake that was called Big Nasty. It was very very sweet but the cupcakes are made with good quality ingredients and you'll definitely notice when you take a bite. Most definitely enjoyed these treats. My only warning is not to eat so many you'll get a tummy ache!! read more

Went in there today to get a cupcake and boy am I glad I did not only did they provide excellent customer service and were willing to stay open a little later for us! But the cupcakes were to DIE for so good can't wait to go back! Plus all of the cool antiques give the place a great uniqueness. read more

Love the cupcakes...everyone I've tried! My faves are "black magic" & toffee caramel crunch with my favorite English toffee iced latte. Designs for wedding or specialty cakes amaze (!) and are delicious! And to top that the cupcakes are the best value in all of central Texas! read more

Oh my! I just love Cuppie Cakes! The cupcakes are delish and the atmosphere quaint and inviting. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. I enjoyed a Cuppie Cake and a latté while the kids played board games in the back. What a fun outing for the entire family. read more
