This show was a perfect addition to our vacation! Our entire family- adults, seniors, and children- all loved it. We were able to get tickets online at a small discount and they had a large parking lot to park in. There were bathrooms and a small concession stand. The show is outside but has the back row covered for a sunny day. They were so entertaining. We went to the lumberjack show as part of a fourth grade class trip and had such a great time. The MC split the audience into two cheering sections to support either Chase or Owen, which immediately got all of the kids engaged and excited. The biggest crowd favorites were the pole climb, log roll, and axe toss, plus the fun of being lucky enough to sit on the winning side. The kids absolutely loved cheering for the competitors, and it was so much fun watching them get excited about a sport most of us knew very little about beforehand. The show runs a little over an hour and does a great job balancing action, humor, and audience participation. It kept the students entertained the entire time. Since we attended as part of a group outing, I cannot really speak to pricing or the full customer service experience, but every staff member we interacted with was friendly and helpful. Plus both Owen and Chase hung around for autographs and photos with all the kids. There was also plenty of room for our five motor coaches to park easily. I've been to Mackinaw a few times and always have driven by. This time around the kid and wife were interested in watching the show. There is one show a day at 7:30pm. Ticket booth is also the concession stand. In the concession stand they sell pop, water, sweat shirts and these cool wood carved bears. Both Iron jacks (lumber jacks who participate in ALL the events) are brothers from New York. The Lumber Jack show lasted about 90 minutes and was quite entertaining. It's a family event and worth going to see at least once. read more

I have to say that after a trip to this beautiful area of our country, I didn't expect for the highlight of the trip to be a lumberjack show. I was wrong. This show was a blast. Not only did it show impressive skills, but taught a good history of the area. They got the audience involved and even pulled my 2 year old grandson onto the stage which he loved. This was a great show, very family friendly. We went with our three boys, the youngest being 2 years old and they had a blast watching the various events and following along with the jokes and descriptions of the MC. It was worth every penny and we would definitely do it again! They have plenty of parking, are easy to find, have well maintained and clean facility, and have a good variety of snacks and souvenirs at the shop. They also had a good truck in the parking lot before the show if you're looking for something more than just snacks. I would note that seating is on metal bleachers which were more than adequate for us for the duration of the show which was about 1h 15m but could be uncomfortable for people with back problems or other physical issues. read more

This was my husband and daughter's (2 years old) first live lumberjack experience and they were thoroughly entertained for the duration of the show and when leaving my daughter was repeating "more lumberjack" and "more show." They have a lot of audience participation and humor in the show. The entire experience was educational, informative, and fast-paced. The show is good for all audiences. We had driven by a couple of times and when searching for things in the area it popped up with great reviews. We called to see if our dog could come since he is traveling with us and can't be left alone and they said it was fine! We purchased tickets online and arrived a half hour early so we could get a good spot for our dog, Rowdy. They had us sit at the end of the bleachers, next to the grass and it worked out well. We could see the show and so could he. It was quite entertaining and actually, informative too! Lasted a little under 2 hours and we felt it was well worth the money. Great for all ages! read more

We went to a show on A Monday. It was not expensive at all. $11/person. The owner and main show guy checked us in and gave us a special discount...just because. Really down to earth and fun people. The show was really well done and fun. Something great to do besides the touristy Macknaw trip. They also give out coupons to the oldest and best fudge shop in town...Marshalls. Half price to everyone else with it. Their show is seasonal and wrapping up about First of October. Highly recomend! read more

So fun to see a live, tourist-pleasing, family-oriented show return to the Mackinaw scene. Goofy humor and hijinks combined with genuine talent entertained us old-timers, as well as thrilled the school-age kids in attendance.
