I resisted telling him I had none of the lifestyle choices usually associated with this condition but he advised me that many baby boomers had been turning up with it. I agreed to be tested and sure enough I tested positive for HEP-C. He referred me to a Gastroenterologist that treated and cured me if this condition before I had suffered any liver damage. This is only one example of his awareness and ability. I originally selected him out of convenience. His office was located within 1 mile of mine. However I no longer work at that office but I gladly make a 21 mile journey to see him now because I find him to be a trustworthy and excellent physician.

He's pleasant, thoughtful, funny, and empathetic. Truly, I can't say enough good things about him. Hell, I wish we were friends. He's great. That said, his clinic at Wellstar Paulding closed and he fell off the face of the earth. I've called all the hospitals in the area, including Emory where he did his Residency, thinking maybe they kept up with doctors who went through their program. I've tried it all. I think I finally figured out where he is, but they were so cryptic on the phone and said they couldn't give him a message from me. I just want a referral to a new Neuro, if he's no longer taking patients. Is he? No clue. They closed up shop at Wellstar and didn't give any warning or get me in to see him one last time before he left. I was due for an appt around the time they closed, as I go in regularly.
