I was initially told the wrong cover amount, and when I asked about an ATM since they only take cash, I was basically told to go find one down the street. In 2026, we're still cash-only for cover charges? Be serious. After finally getting inside, I quickly realized I had paid $10 for the privilege of standing shoulder-to-shoulder with strangers because there was literally nowhere to sit. The place was packed, which is great for business, but not so great for customers who are expected to pay a cover and then spend the entire night standing around. I stayed about 30 minutes because my friends were there, but the vibe had already been ruined at the door. Nothing kills a night out faster than rude customer service before you've even made it inside. By the way when I was leaving, the rude door person had the nerve to tell me that if I came back right away she wouldn't charge me, but if I didn't come back right away she would charge me again the $10. I told her don't worry I would never be back. I love supporting Black-owned businesses and was excited to check this place out. Unfortunately, good customer service should come with the experience, and that was completely missing. Between the prison-yard first impression, cash-only cover charge, misinformation, overcrowding, and rude door staff, this was a one-and-done experience for me. I won't be back.
