I placed my order online for a dozen roses and received a confirmation email. The only snafu was that I got an email the week before my flowers were to be delivered saying they had been delivered! I emailed them and they quickly emailed back to say the email was mistakenly sent. I did not receive a confirm email when they were actually delivered but heard from my family about it. On day of delivery the online order tracking still said "received by store" so I called the store multiple times to make sure everything was ok as I had placed the order online, no answer and had to leave a voice mail. The local store called me back at 2:15 and said they were making the order. I stressed that the business where it was to be delivered closed at 5 and was assured it would be delivered. Husband comes home, there had been no delivery and now no surprise. At around 5:20/5:30 delivery driver called to find out where the person, who it was going to, was. They got directions to home to deliver. When the delivery person came they were surly and shoved the package and a pen with signature sheet towards me without a request to sign. I mentioned this was supposed to be a surprise at work and that I was assured it would be delivered (not angry just wanted to note that) the driver got very sassy and said they had 12 deliveries and just did what they were told and walked away with such a poor attitude - not even waiting on their tip, which was in my hand. It was like Customer Service wasn't even a concern. A simple and polite , "I will relay the message back to the store" would have changed the way the whole experience felt. A few minutes after the driver left, got a text that said, "Sorry about your Karen." I have ordered from them before without a problem so was disappointed that both the store seemed so unconcerned about the importance of delivery and the driver's attitude will keep me from shopping with them again, not to mention the "after text" from the driver. That was amazing, and not in a good way.

They do have a cozy reading room at the back. I spent a good 20 minutes there. They also have a used book collection at a reasonable price in the reading room. It's not a large store, so the book collections are understandably limited, but it is a great store nevertheless. The store owner was friendly. Stop by here; it's a great way to support your neighborhood small business.
