I hired this company to diagnose an issue with my RV slide and paid $200 for the service call. Their conclusion was that the motors needed to be replaced, and I was told they would follow up with a quote for parts and labor. Instead, I contacted BAL, the manufacturer of the slide system, directly. BAL recommended a retrofit repair kit as the proper fix, which I purchased myself for $160. That kit includes two new motors. Once I had the OEM-recommended parts, I asked this company for a labor-only quote. After multiple follow-ups, they declined to even provide one, stating their technician "has not had good luck" with these retrofit kits and that they were not comfortable performing the repair. That's the part I find most frustrating. The retrofit kit still involves replacing the same motors they originally diagnosed as failed. If they were not comfortable performing the manufacturer-recommended repair, that should have been disclosed upfront -- before I paid for a diagnosis and spent time sourcing the solution myself. I appreciate their honesty in ultimately admitting their limitations, but that honesty came after the fact, not before. In the end, I paid $200, got no repair, no quote, and no clear path forward until I handled it myself. Future customers should ask upfront whether the technician is experienced with their specific slide system and whether they are willing to quote labor separately before paying for a diagnosis. read more

Jacks Mobile and Jose saved our big family vacation. Our trailer brakes started locking up with the slightest touch on the tow vehicle brakes. Update. My van is a custom conversion van. Because of how tight the space was in the back, we had to build a small sink pull out using undermount drawer slides that only have 60 lb load capacity. Such a tight space that we used a dog bowl and drilled out the center to create a sink, which incidentally has worked out great Didn't mention this in the original review, but as I drove to meet up with Jack I reminded myself to mention this. It was the one thing I made a point of mentioning, that that pull out is not load bearing, so not to put weight on it Long story short, he's leaning into the van, and putting all his weight on that pull out, and I say "hey" which he doesn't hear at all, and then I say "hey Jack", he doesn't hear again, so then I have to shout "hey dude!". And get him to get off my drawer. The thing has stuck ever since. So not only did he do the job crappy, but he damaged my home in the process.
