They never even bothered to return calls. I guess they are just too busy I called 2-3 times when I was in Jackson during a weeks time.

Worst dental establishment in the Town of Jackson. They quote you one price and charge another. Avoid this dentist at all costs.

Just over two weeks before the end of my seasonal job in Jackson, I developed a toothache. I did…read moresome research and decided to contact 2 local dentists. Elk Ridge Dental was prompt to return my call; I never heard from the other. After explaining my situation to Gloria on the phone, she made me an appt for the next day. I saw Dr. Espinoza, who after discussing my symptoms and a little of my dental history and reviewing my x-ray, concluded in her exam that perhaps a small spot of decay that didn't even show on the e-xray was the culprit and recommended a filling. I really thought my pain was far beyond a bit of surface decay, but she is the dr...and I got the filling. I asked her about prescribing antibiotics, and she said we should wait to see if the filling alleviated the pain. By the time the anesthetic wore off, I knew the original issue not only remained but the pain was increasing. I called the office the next day (a Friday) and the soonest appt was Monday morning. The weekend was filled with bouts that were reminiscent of having labor pains in my jaw! On Monday morning, needless to say, Dr. Espinoza quickly agreed that the little cavity she'd filled was not the "root" of my problem (as I had suspected) and said a root canal was in order. She then prescribed antibiotics and pain meds, I paid for another office visit, and left their office entertaining visions of a pending root canal in my future. The soonest root canal appt they could get me was 8/19...I was leaving for home 8/21... In the mean time, I contacted my long-time dentist at home, explained the situation, and decided to hold off on the procedure till I was back there since it was a difference of just a few days. I stopped into the office one morning this week to ask them to cancel the root canal appt for me, and to express my unhappiness with the diagnosis I had originally received. Neda and Gloria were both very receptive and understanding of my situation....an inaccurate diagnosis of my original complaint, a procedure that was most likely not necessary, the pain from the infection that would not have escalated had it not gone untreated for 3 more days, and the fact that I had paid a 2nd office visit fee to come and tell them the first diagnosis was wrong. Gloria's offer of a monetary solution was immediate and even more than I had expected to "right" the situation. Both ladies thanked me for being candid and expressed that this information was important to Dr. Galbraith. I couldn't have been happier with the outcome, despite the big hiccup and 3 days of unnecessary pain. Overall, if I could rate the business separately from the doctor's diagnosis, I'd give 5 stars. I thought the fees were reasonable. All of the staff, both front and back office, that I encountered were very friendly and professional. I just think that Dr. Espinoza needs a little more experience under her belt before I would be confident with her treating me again, and because of that could only give her 2 stars if rating the doctor separately.

Beware, there is a new dentist. It was awful dealing with him. He blamed not calling in a…read moreprescription after a tooth extraction on being too busy, and then on the pharmacy, etc. We were long time patients. This is not the same practice.

I was leaving a grocery store and noticed a local dentist office so I thought I would see if I could possibly get an appointment or if they could suggest something. To my surprise they took me right in! The receptionist was so sweet I was in tears. My dentist was Dr Braiden Jorgensen and he was kind, personable, and professional! In less than an hour he had my tooth looking great, actually better than before! His assistant was a doll! I absolutely loved everything about this office and highly recommend them. Thank you Dental Care of Jackson Hole for saving the day!

Shady business and complete lack of transparency…read more I went in for a routine lower retainer repair- the wire had popped off on one side. Dr. Schmidt looked at the break, went ahead and re-glued it back on, and THEN proceeded to tell me that I could get a more permanent solution at an orthodontist. Implying that her work wasn't the best solution I could have received. One day later, my retainer popped right off again after I bit into a granola bar. I called politely asking for a refund and was sent to voicemail. After finally getting a hold of them a few weeks later, they refused my refund stating that I had all the information I needed prior to the procedure. But if I knew I could get a better fix at an orthodontist I would have walked out of the establishment immediately. (again, she did not tell me this until AFTER she had already done the procedure.) Now I'm $160 in the hole and needing further repairs. I am absolutely stunned that an establishment could be so greedy and lack so much ethics, especially in a town where a lot of us live paycheck to paycheck and are paying these kinds of expenses out of pocket. As someone in a position of expertise, Dr. Schmidt has a responsibility to provide full transparency for her clients before every procedure, including the notion that I could have received better, more effective care elsewhere. She should be ashamed of herself.

First off he talked abnormally fast, as though he had ingested 8-30 mg's of Adderall that day. However, he wasn't at all shaky. I assume this was normal for him. Dr. Glen was extremely rough even after I stopped him to tell him so. He squeezed my jaw so hard I have bruising today. I saw no reason for this type of brutality in a dental chair. He had 3 assistants that were throwing tools over my head on account of his swiftness. The entire procedure literally took 2 minutes. I will give him this, he was successful in removing the implant which was the goal we shared. He placed one stitch, (that came out that evening) and one square of gauze over the hole. My husband and I walked around Jackson for a few minutes post surgery until he noticed I had blood running down the corners of my mouth. Most dentists would have sent me out the door with a few spare pieces of gauze. We drove around this congested town trying to locate a store that carried gauze. We ran across an animal clinic and they were more than happy to give me a handful of sterile gauze. I've been to many, many dentists on account of relocating for my husband's job. Never have I experienced such brutal dentistry in all of my 67 years. Don't set yourself up for such abuse.

They got us in early Tuesday and the experience was extraordinary. Sign in process was efficient and Dr Stern was awesome. Very capable, very cool and he made us feel clarity and confidence regarding next steps. Fortunately, it was an fairly simple issue and we were out of the office in 30 minutes. I have 4 kids and they've all had numerous physician and dentist visits over the years. We experienced the best during our stop in Jackson. Big thanks to Dr Stern and staff!
