I went in with a shattered implant. Dr. Glen surgically extracted it. It was located in my lower jaw in the back. (#19 or #20?). First off he talked abnormally fast, as though he had ingested 8-30 mg's of Adderall that day. However, he wasn't at all shaky. I assume this was normal for him. Dr. Glen was extremely rough even after I stopped him to tell him so. He squeezed my jaw so hard I have bruising today. I saw no reason for this type of brutality in a dental chair. He had 3 assistants that were throwing tools over my head on account of his swiftness. The entire procedure literally took 2 minutes. I will give him this, he was successful in removing the implant which was the goal we shared. He placed one stitch, (that came out that evening) and one square of gauze over the hole. My husband and I walked around Jackson for a few minutes post surgery until he noticed I had blood running down the corners of my mouth. Most dentists would have sent me out the door with a few spare pieces of gauze. We drove around this congested town trying to locate a store that carried gauze. We ran across an animal clinic and they were more than happy to give me a handful of sterile gauze. I've been to many,many dentists on account of relocating for my husband's job. Never have I experienced such brutal dentistry in all of my 67 years. Don't set yourself up for such abuse. read more

Recently, I was on a trip through Wyoming with my sons. My 19-year old had wisdom teeth extracted about a week before we departed Georgia. Sure enough, during a stop in Grand Teton Nat'l Park, he started to experience pain and we had concern about potential infection. We called Teton Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery on a Monday morning. They got us in early Tuesday and the experience was extraordinary. Sign in process was efficient and Dr Stern was awesome. Very capable, very cool and he made us feel clarity and confidence regarding next steps. Fortunately, it was an fairly simple issue and we were out of the office in 30 minutes. I got my upper wisdom tooth pulled. Dr. Swanson and his staff did a flawless job. I didn't even feel the tooth come out!! I came here a week ago for a tongue-tie revision. After a 3 hour drive from Riverton, I finally found this place tucked away in a office park. It is still the tourist season in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. The procedure was relatively painless. I received a local anesthetic around the tongue. The procedure took only 15 minutes. I wished I stopped for something to eat before I went. Afterwards, my tongue was numb and could only have a shake, pudding or jello for a couple of days. Overall an excellent experience. read more

Not only was the prescription originally written for me dated incorrectly ( causing me to waste an hour or so driving around town and to wait for a prescription twice ) , but Dr. Stern and the receptionist were incredibly unapologetic and rude throughout our interaction. He even managed to throw a couple of personal insults in there. Also, there was a dog hanging around the lobby just 10 feet away ( via two open doorways ) from the surgical area. The place was a mess and the employees didn't seem know what was going on, and were rude (except for the nurse, Katie). It is 100% worth it to drive to Idaho Falls to see a professional instead of going here. Extremely dissatisfied. I wish there was a rating lower than 1 star. read more

My son had his wisdom teeth pulled last summer. He ended up getting a dry socket which was very painful. When coming back in related to this Dr. Glenn said there was "no such thing". Well whatever you want to call it, his clot came out and it was painful. When my son went back in to get it looked at Dr. Glenn forgot to repack it, so it was just as painful after as it was before the appointment. I ended up packing it myself with gauze and clove oil which did the trick. THEN the office billed our supplemental insurance before our primary and told us the bill was correct. I had to contact our insurance to find out why our bill was so high after insurance. We have been in contact with the office several times about this.They were supposed to resend the information to our insurance and resubmit it correctly. Not only did they NOT do this. They sent our incorrect bill to collections. RIDICULOUS! I would NEVER recommend him or his office to anyone! read more
