I have never had such a frustrating experience with an insurance company…read more I called Freeway Insurance simply to change my deductible because my auto loan company notified me that my coverage was considered deficient and I was at risk of being force-placed into an additional $255 insurance policy. What should have been a simple request turned into a nightmare. I was hung up on SIX different times while trying to get assistance. When I originally called to update my policy after trading in my car, I was told I had to cancel my existing policy and start an entirely new one. This resulted in me having to pay an additional $750 just to keep coverage in place, on top of my regular payment that was due only two weeks later. The process and costs were never clearly explained. To make matters worse, I received notices in the mail stating that my policy was missing required vehicle photos. However, when I contacted customer service, they could clearly see that the photos had already been submitted and simply uploaded them to my policy themselves. So why was I being threatened with issues over documents they already had? The lack of communication, repeated disconnections, conflicting information, and overall disorganization caused unnecessary stress and wasted hours of my time. Insurance is supposed to provide peace of mind. Instead, dealing with Freeway Insurance has been one of the most aggravating customer service experiences I've ever had. I would not recommend Freeway Insurance based on my experience.

We called, left messages, nothing. We were so worried about them, we went to their house to check on them, no response, so ultimately calling the police. Police told us a neighbor said they left on vacation. How could that be? Finally emailed them, Gary responded, yes they left, but we could do it all electronically. That was unusual. Last year was uneventful. But this year was just horrible. I made the mistake of referring my daughter to them. To make a long story short, it is April 15th, 10:30 p.m. We are on our way to their house to pick up tax docs bcuz they won't answer phone calls, emails, text messages and we don't know if our daughter's taxes will be filed. Now she's going to have to file an extension, pay penalties and find someone else to prepare her taxes. I'm sad to have to write this review, but I wouldn't want anyone to go through what we've just gone through. And it's doubly sad bcuz they are nice people. Maybe it's time to retire.

I simply send them my tax info as I get it and when they are done I go and sign and get my e-file copies right then and there. My refunds have come very quickly. I informed him that we as attorneys go to the CPA, not the other way around. Two days later he told me he was just going to file the returns with seriously wrong information on them, and we would amend them later, because he did not have enough time to do them the right way. I refused, and he sent us a termination letter, leaving us to do our own return just four days before the deadline. We did our own return and found that on the previous year, Usman had vastly incorrect information, as if he made it out of thin air, increasing our tax liability for 2023. He is the worst accountant I have experienced in over 30 years of law practice. Do not recommend.
