To be clear, this review is for the service they offer related to TSA Precheck, not their tax…read morereturns. I easily made an appointment online to do my TSA precheck. The only really positive thing I can say about this experience is that it was much faster to get an appointment at this location than at any other location. It went downhill from there. I arrived several minutes before my appointment time. I had a hard time finding it because the only thing showing that the TSA precheck site was within H&R Block was a tiny sticker on the door that was not really visible while driving around the parking lot. Once I got in the door, there wasn't a person there to tell me where to sign in or answer questions. It fell onto those waiting to guide anyone new who came in. I waited about 90 minutes past my appointment time to be seen. There is only one person and one machine for the precheck process, so the line moves very slowly. When it was finally my turn, they had issues with the fact that my driver's license had my married name and my passport had my maiden name. I had my marriage license, which is all you need to show, but they were saying they didn't know if that would work. It clearly states on the website that the document I had was all I would need. It took 2 people and twice the amount of time of any of the other appointments for them to figure out what they were supposed to do. I was quite frustrated. Also, as an FYI, you have to take off any rings you have before they electronically do your finger prints, so bring some lotion for those tight wedding bands. The site supposedly closes at 6. I didn't leave until 5:30, and there were still several people waiting in line, so I don't know if they shut it down or see everyone when they run over. When I asked if today was busier than most, they said they always run that far behind. My advise would be to bring a good book and a healthy helping of patience.

If I could give this place negative stars, I would. My mother had her taxes prepared here and a…read moreyear later she received a letter from the IRS that H&R Block made an error. She owed an additional $1250. She had been talked into the Peace of Mind insurance, so H&R Block was supposed to reimburse her for this amount. Eight months and countless trips to the office, calls, faxes and emails later she finally got the money. Along the way we discovered that the H&R Block staff signed other staff members' names, wrote a letter and signed my mother's name, lost her files, and took her files home. On top of that, they rarely answered the phone in the office (with no opportunity to leave a message to request a call back). The H&R Block policy for filing the Peace of Mind claim is for the staff to file for the customers (we were told we had no option to file ourselves and didn't get to see what was submitted). The Peace of Mind claim was initially denied because the staff filed the claim more than 60 days after the IRS letter. They also purported that she didn't provide all the documents--however the incorrect details that they submitted on her initial return were from the pages with the correct details. I finally took all the documents to an office near my home and within a week we had the money reimbursed. Just stay away from this office.
