I took our non profit organization paperwork in to have our taxes done. It was July when the paperwork was given now in mid September and taxes arent done yet! Every time I called i was given the run around being told shes not in the office and that i was going to get a call back. I never did receive that call and all o wanted to know was an update of what was going on. They were very rude and had attitude once they spoke to another board member of my organization and us to pick up our paperwork and they havent done anything yet. Wasted 2 months and could have had our taxes done someplace else with more respect. Will NEVER go there again or even suggest it to anyone. read more

We've been using Tax Chicks in Dover for 2 years now. That has included some fairly complex tax returns (from my point of view) involving a retirement, IRAs, sale of stocks, and a death in the family. Glenna has helped us through it all. This here Tax Chick really knows her job and takes the time to explain it all to those of us just trying to keep up. And their prices are very fair too. No more TurboTax for Pappy Bob. read more

Meet the Business Owner: Sandra G.

Sandy Stokes Gulledge is a native Delawarean, born in Milford Hospital and graduated Valedictorian from Lake Forest High School. She graduated in 1982 from the University of Delaware with a Cum Laude BS in Accounting. Upon graduation, she joined a regional CPA firm concentrating in small business and individual taxation, as well as audits of not-for-profit agencies and small governmental units. In 1995, she started her own accounting practice. Currently the practice prepares 1800 personal income tax returns, 200 corporations and partnerships, and runs payroll or bookkeeping for 50 businesses.

[UPDATE BELOW] What can I say? In order to make use of a…read moreunique ActiveCampaign functionality I needed, I *had* to use the official ActiveCampaign forms (instead of another opt-in forms plugin). The first problem was how ugly the default AC forms were. The second problem was how ill equipped I am to handle the custom coding required to make them look good. The third problem was getting the newly designed form to display perfectly across all devices/screen sizes. I found Viktor in a Facebook group we're both in and after a little back and forth, I decided to ask if he'd be willing to take the job. In just a couple of days he had the form looking spot on and had it implemented on my Wordpress install (using the builder and plugins I was already using). He was patient with my rambling questions and thoughts, and quickly made a few revisions when I asked. Now it works like a charm. He not only provided me with all the code and instructions I needed, but I offered him access to my site and he plugged everything in for me and made sure it worked. Just what I needed! One last thing: the price was very fair. He's now at the top of my list when I'm looking for someone to help me solve these kinds of problems. I'm already working on another request. :) UPDATE: I just reached out to Viktor to ask for his help with something new that has my wife and I stumped. We are very close to launching a new project, but the tech side continues to throw wrenches in the works. These things have been frustrating for us but no problem for Viktor. I hesitate to say this next part because I don't want people trying to take advantage of Viktor, but since I have seen others post similar things I will add it. Viktor has been extremely generous with his time, providing free advice and settings adjustments, etc. that I was more than willing to pay for. Frankly, if he had a "tip jar" somewhere, I would be sending him money when he refuses to invoice me. LOL!

I strongly advise against using Tax Chicks, especially under Sandra Gulledge's management. My experience with their service was extremely poor. Tax filings were consistently delayed, requiring numerous follow-up calls to inquire about the status. This resulted in potential penalties from the IRS due to their inefficiency. If you value timely and hassle-free tax preparation, I suggest looking elsewhere for a more reliable service. read more
