I want to bring to your attention a loan officer you have in your employ in Sandpoint, ID. He pushed my first loan application pre-maturely, knowing I was in a legal issue with a time share. He still moved ahead and scheduled an appraisal ($1,500). The Lender declined the application. We agreed for me to complete the legal cancelation of the timeshare and clear my credit and re-apply. The loan officer told me in an email that he would waive the appraisal fee for the re-application. Last week we closed our loan. To my surprise an appraisal fee of $1,000 was in the closing statement. I contacted the loan officer with the email stating he was going to waive the appraisal fee. Then he came up with the loan was with a broker and could not refund the fee. Well, as a consumer, this is not my problem. On his professional word (email) he was waving the fee. I have contacted your customer service team and submitted an issue. Today they came back that they talked to the loan officer and of course he stated the same reason. You need to take a look at this issue. Checking the BBB your company has 92 complaints in the last 3 years and 64 in the last 12 months. That is not a good trend. I'm going to be the 65th complaint. If you find yourself requiring a mortgage loan Do Not contact Lee Hardin, he does not care about you! In full transparency, Guaranteed Rate corporate agreed with my issue, and reimbursed my appraisal fee.

What I noticed and heard from the employees at this bank was politeness and respect even in the face of these abusive customers. They should be commended, and the manager should be on their side, should this terrible behavior ever happen again. The reason the customers were upset? They had to show an I.D. card to complete their transaction. Seriously? It is common knowledge in this day and age of identity theft and scams to show your identification at a bank--grow up and give these poor, hard-workers some kindness and courtesy, please! I requested information on a secure credit card with Wells Fargo, Sandpoint, ID branch, to increase…read moremy personal credit rating. I have a business checking account with Wells Fargo and the representative told me that if I open a secure credit card under the business name my personal credit would benefit too. I thought, "great, let's do it". Soon after I received the credit card, and of course paid their yearly fee for the card, I received a Wells Fargo pamphlet stating that a secure credit card registered or affiliated with a business does NOT assist your personal credit rating, only the credit you establish with Wells Fargo for your business, which by the way has never began, not yet at least, but I decided it makes no sense to close the business account just to open a personal account. Thus, I went in to the branch, spoke with a different banker, to ask why I was given false information but, of course she could not find an answer and said she would call me by the end of the day with an answer and solve the problem. It's been two weeks now and I have not heard from them. Next call is to their customer service over the phone and, in addition, I will indeed cancel both accounts with Wells Fargo. Seems Wells Fargo cares nothing about you and I and only the fees, incentives and commission for starting a new account. I WILL, FROM NOW ON, USE A CREDIT UNION AFTER I CLOSE MY WELLS FARGO ACCOUNTS, I SUGGEST YOU DO TOO!
