I wanted to open an account at this bank and had a couple of slight hiccups in the process because of certain personal information that they needed that I had simply never been asked to provide by any other bank. The manager at the bank proceeded to insult me by saying, "Well, I don't know what kind of haphazard institution would let you open an account with only this type of information available" and I informed her that I had opened an account with HSBC Bank, a much larger and international bank, with the same information and paperwork I provided to her. Then, all of a sudden she was fairly speechless. Disgusted, I walked a little further into town and went to what was a Wachovia at the time and they were much kinder and accommodating and opened up an account for me in no time. I've been to a couple of PNC Banks in NJ and they seemed to be nice enough, so I tend to think that this location was just a fluke.

They found pretty much everything was perfect (other than a mistake I had made!) I saw another review about the openly Christian atmosphere. If anything, even if you aren't religious, it should give you some confidence that they will be honest because they believe they answer to Someone higher than the government. It is a very simple process, I make an appointment every year, bring in my documents, they do their thing and I'm out of there in about 30 to 60 minutes (I have a child in college, so many more questions in recent years) with state and federal electronically filed and local ready to be mailed in. This year with covid, they have quickly implemented other options of getting your documents to them. I saw someone criticized their religious nature, however in the 20 years I've been going there, they have been nothing but extremely professional and honest in their work. I am not religious but also not offended easily as I do believe each to their own, they do my taxes, they do an outstanding job, that is why I go there.

I have to call for questions over the past few years and she is VERY UNPROFESSIONAL and abrasive. I shouldn't have to feel like I am ruining someone's day by calling and asking questions on the policies that I AM PAYING FOR!!!! I have made several complaints about this woman and was even assured they work with her on customer etiquette. Well that ever happened so I finally yes to sales call from state farm and switched. Customer Service goes A LONG WAY and if you are going to work in this capacity you need practice great customer service etiquette.
