Our 2 night stay at the Jackson was not as expected. First off there is NO breakfast provided. There is a complimentary coffee machine in a common room and that is it. Based on reviews and their webpage, I was under the impression that breakfast was provided but it was not. You can buy breakfast in the restaurant but it is expensive. The weirdest part of the stay was that there is no host to check guests in or help with issues. It is completely virtual! You press the button on a doorbell camera and someone answers after like 5 min. I had to press it several times to get a response at 10 am in the day of my checkout. The response was the staff doesn't show up until 11 am; which is the checkout time. There is a text number but the person or AI agent on the other end clearly is not the innkeeper or anyone capable of making decisions. They/It provided faulty information and was the opposite of helpful. If this is what the future of hospitality looks like, I am not impressed. My family rented two rooms on the first floor. One room facing the back of the property was nice but the other one (#15) was very small and had two windows overlooking the front porch and yard. Unfortunately there are chairs just outside of the windows and someone kept sitting in one of them and talking on her phone. It was very uncomfortable to have the shades open and have someone sitting right there. Because of this we had to keep the curtains drawn and with the room being so small, it felt like we were in a cave. Basically, it sounds like staying at the Jackson used to be a very nice experience but new owners/management are now trying to run the hotel as cheaply as possible. Guests are noticing. read more

Be cautious when booking at this inn. There is no direct contact number for the property, and if you make an incorrect reservation, you won't be able to change it. Additionally, you will be charged immediately. I tried to call the inn directly, but a third party I contacted offered no assistance other than stating they would "expedite the request." Unfortunately, no one from the inn reached out to me, and I ended up losing my money. read more

VISITORS BE WARNED The Bed and Breakfast is under new management. They have done away with the two-course breakfast the inn is known for and replaced it with a continental breakfast that is a poorer offering than what you will get from Hampton Inn. There is now fruit, yogurt, granola, stale pastries, hard boiled eggs, juice and coffee/tea only. The communication refers to the continental breakfast as an "enhancement" when in fact it is a replacement. They are not honoring what you have booked, offering only $15 per day in return. Our breakfast out, while delicious, cost $60. The new management should have been transparent in their communication, honored what guests had booked for at least 90 days after takeover, and given notice to folks here that have booked so they could have an opportunity to make a change, if desired. When I asked for a real solution, the new manager stated only that I was "talking in circles" making me into the problem instead of taking real accountability for the misinformation they've delivered to customers. I haven't gotten away with my husband since 2021. This has left a negative stain on our getaway. read more

A gorgeous Inn on wonderful grounds and wonderful hosts, but when staying at a Bed & Breakfast, what are the two most important things? We didn't sleep well as the bed was loaded with so much padding and so many blankets, that it created a small foothill between me and my wife, totally separating us in the bed. A squeaky floor above us woke up throughout the night. The breakfast was only okay- plenty of food, but lots of unnecessary sauces and additions, also cold waffles didn't help. Having said that, we loved the room and the Inn and would probably go back. read more

Our stay was lovely ; just one night . My only negative is that it's on the outskirts of town & parking is tough in the heart of town . Because we've never stayed before , I don't know about the previous made to order breakfast that prior reviews complained was no longer available. I want to make it clear at the beginning of this review that the two star rating in no way reflects the effort of the staff to make their guests as comfortable as possible. They are attentive and professional, warm and inviting and have been put in an impossible position by the corporate overlord who acquired the inn back in July. They are simply not being provided the resources and support to serve the guests in a manner befitting the potential of the inn and region. In true corporate rader fashion, the third partner from New Jersey has embarked on a campaign to strip this fine old inn of everything that has made it a success in the name of short-sighted cost cutting, for short-term, minor profits. The two course breakfast, a minor expense, has been replaced with a mediocre, second tier motel continental breakfast. They've either cut staffing, or are treating people so poorly that they can't attract staff, to the point that laundry isn't getting done, coffee and tea service is spotty, and basic maintenance on things like door knobs is going unaddressed. It's painfully obvious that the new owners are not interested in providing an experience in keeping with the tradition of this and other classic New England B and Bs, and are simply going to run the playbook we've seen so often in the recent past: Gut the budget, run it into the ground until they've bled it white, then sell it at a loss and reap the tax benefits when it's a shell of it's former self. One can only hope that the bones of the inn will survive this ravishing and come back at a later date with owners who have a more long-term vision for the inn and it's place in the greater community. read more

What a shame! We have been going to the Jackson House Inn for years and our last visit was very disappointing. The beautiful sit down breakfast is gone and the breakfast buffet was nothing to write home about. I agree with another reviewer, it was equal to a Hamptons Inn buffet. The Italian Frette sheets and table linens and napkins are gone - replaced by cheap polyester. This is what happens when investors take over an inn. It is now just about the money and not the special touches that made this inn so very special. You can no longer choose the specific room you want to stay in - which was a big selling feature for us. Where we sleep in an inn (especially one that is on a very busy road) is important as well as the bed size, etc. So they have raised room prices, taken away the memorable breakfast and service is bare minimum. What was once a very special experience specifically geared toward the guest has now been replaced by corporate profit. To the new owners - it's not too late to bring back what made this inn so special. read more

I was torn between 2 or 3 stars and because of the location I chose 3. I booked the Jackson House Inn way back in February 2024 for Wassail Weekend - based on the belief from reviews and research, that this place was magical. It is far from it. The photos no longer portray the reality. New ownership has watered the services down to bare bones. Folks need to be aware: there is absolutely NO interactions with humans (except for a few guests who were friendly and engaging). Lila, the Innkeeper was the only staff contact had - she was extremely kind and helpful and none of this is a reflection on her. She is doing what her job requires. This is 100% a reflection on new owners. Where do I start - when checking in, the reception is an iPad - and then - if the system works - you get a text message with a code and a map to your room. WTH? The room (over $325/night) was bare bones; literally a container of hand soap at the sink and some oily shampoo and conditioner in the shower. No room service. You were instructed to check a door tag with items you needed and they were swapped out (which they were). The fireplace did not work - when they did "fix" it - the next day, it wouldn't turn off - the room reached 90 degrees! Luckily I have enough experience and knowledge that I figured out how to. The "24 hour" coffee area consistently lacked cups, milk, sugar, etc Now onto the breakfast - first morning: yogurt, berries, granola, some sort of loaf bread, one piece of COLD quiche. A staff person brought out TWO SLICES of additional quiche - this is when I actually laughed - the food is NOT made at the Inn (this was confirmed the next day). Breakfast - day 2: because there is no staff (cheap owners I guess), upon entering the dining room, ALL tables still had dirty dishes, napkins, crumbs, etc from previous guests. Nothing was clean. The yogurt, breads, etc: gone - nothing was refilled. A nice gentleman came out of the kitchen and cooked one scramble egg and one piece of toast for each of us. That was breakfast! Totally disappointing - they need to either lower their prices or provide top notch services. Next time I'll go to the Woodstock Inn. I didn't mind paying $100 for lunch- the hospitality was magnificent, the ambiance superb and the food was outstanding. Woodstock VT holds a special place in my heart. The Jackson Inn (it is no longer the Jackson House Inn) does not. read more

The Jackson House Inn was great. It was our first time at a bed & breakfast. My wife and I enjoyed our stay. Our only criticism is the breakfast. What they offered was fresh and would be considered delicious. But I would have liked traditional breakfast offerings like eggs, sausage, bacon, ham, home fries, etc. We don't think it is too high an expectation for the amount they charge for the room and breakfast. The second morning of our two night stay, we checked out and went to a nearby diner. If they offered a more substantial breakfast, I would have given them a 5 star review. What a lovely place to spend a few days decompressing! Let me give you -- reasons why this should be your next travel experience. 1. It is elegant without being stuffy. Everywhere you turn, you see little touches, thoughtful touches, that remind you that the owners know the business and know, exquisitely, how to care for their guests. 2. Breakfasts are sensational. They are tasty, unusual, and beautiful. And they are served in a dining room that oversees beautiful grounds. 3. The grounds are breathtaking. Everywhere you look, there are flowers and bushes and gardens, professionally attended to. It takes a good half hour to mosey around the four acres that comprise this elegant estate. 4. While you are out and about on the grounds, there are all kinds of places to sit. In the shade, in the sun. Grouped with multiple chairs. With solo or pairs of seats. Our favorite thing to do was to cross a bridge over a creek that runs through the property, and sit in the shade of a tree next to a small pond on the property. Such serenity. The quiet is punctuated by an occasional rooster from a nearby property. 5. While you are in the building there are lots of places to sit and read or quietly converse. There are at least three rooms devoted to this purpose. One is a library. All have elegant, but comfortable chairs. 6. The bed in our room was a study in luxury. I am 5'11", and the top of the mattress was above my belly. It was a little awkward to ascend into (my wife's side has a step stool), but well worth the effort. The bed is ultra comfortable. 7. The staff was personable, and made it clear that they would do anything reasonable to please their guests. 8. You know how country inns sometimes have a long covered porch and multiple easy chairs. This one does as well. 9. The avian life of the property is rich. Sitting in the dining room, it was a joy to watch dozens of birds flitting about the property, moving amongst the trees and vegetation. I particularly appreciated seeing the shadows of birds flying over the property. And outside, an app on our cell phone alerted us to the calls of a dozen and a half types of birds. 10. The negatives? Very few. The rooms are small, and the chairs in the rooms were not comfortable enough to sit for hours and read. But the chairs in other parts of the buildings and grounds more than offset that tiny criticism. And the shower head was immobile, pointed at the glass door to the shower, and sprayed the bathroom when you entered it. Not really a big deal. The next time we are headed toward Vermont, this will certainly be a destination. read more

My mom and I came here with our service dog to celebrate my 25th birthday. We were warmly welcomed by the Inn Keeper and throughly enjoyed our stay. This property is extremely well managed, very clean and super fun to stay at. Check- in is around 4pm and the chef prepares cookies/ warm brownies every afternoon. Then we were checked in and taken to our room. In the morning, breakfast is served at 815 and 925. For breakfast we were served fresh homemade meals including an appetizer and drink. My mom doesn't eat beef so the kitchen staff accommodated her with a replacement. I don't eat gluten and the staff made me gluten free pancakes!! The experience at the Jackson House Inn was exceptional and extremely personalized- a great place to stay for a cozy weekend. read more

The breakfast was a wonderful surprise--multiple course meal including delightful dishes, creative in concept and absolutely delicious. Lauren is a talented chef, and the breakfast each morning was a big part of the old world charm at Jackson House Inn. The House itself is a real treat for those wanting to enjoy an old fashioned lodging experience in a small and historic Vermont village: Located just outside the village proper in beautiful scenery, this inn offers an experience that's a little like stepping back in time while still enjoying every modern convenience. Our room featured a big, cushiony chair set before a warm fireplace--perfect for evening reading--and a view of the gorgeous lawns/garden behind the home, a four-poster king sized bed with a feather stuffed mattress topper that might have been the most comfy bed I've slept in. Spacious bathroom with separate shower and huge whirlpool bathtub. Coffee was left outside our room each morning, and on the one morning when we overslept breakfast, Kayla and Lauren (the innkeepers) prepared the dishes, room service style, and left them at our door, as well--thoughtful!! We cannot overstate how wonderful Kayla and Lauren are as hosts. We didn't feel like customers, but rather like welcomed guests in their home as they went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. We celebrated Christmas in Woodstock and we're very grateful to both of them for making our holiday as lovely and enjoyable as it could be. When we return to Woodstock there's no question of where we'll stay. read more

The perfect getaway for a romantic weekend. Everything about the inn is done extremely well. There is a small, in a good way, bar. The grounds are lovely. The location isn't quite in town but very close. There is a great market just down the road--good to grab wine or cheeses or snacks. Coffee is left outside your door every morning. The breakfasts (photos attached) were fantastic. After breakfast we hung out in front of the fire and read a bit, which was rally nice. We stayed in the room "Christine," which was great--first floor, gas fireplace and large jetted tub. The inn is a shoe-free zone, so pick slippers or the like. My first inclination is to just write a string of superlatives. The property is stunning, the hosts are lovely, helpful ((yet not intrusive), and the food: I would have eaten all my meals here if they were available for lunch and dinner. My husband and I, both vegans, were blown away at the artistry, taste and presentation of Rick's creations. Usually our meals are an after-thought; here, you could tell how much time and love went into them. This is a five-star dining experience that can rival the best restaurants in the state. A little fun fact: the room had the most absurdly quiet A/C I never heard (for an strangely warm October weekend). Meander through the home and your eye will always find somewhere charming to rest. Walk the grounds, sit for a bit by the pond, relax on the porch, or just rest between outings with a glass of wine, helping put together the puzzle that waits to be completed in one of the sittings rooms. It's all good. The down side: You may be spoiled for future stays anywhere else. read more

Where to start?? The food, the fireplace, Rick's drinks, the innkeepers? This may be a while... On our 3rd go around in Woodstock, VT my husband scored us a room at the Jackson House. I'm still not sure how he does it but he always finds the perfect getaway destinations and best food spots (I definitely married up in this dept!). Where to begin? One of the highlights of this B&B is definitely the 2nd B! But let's get some other details sorted out before we move on to the main attraction... We stayed in the Cranberry, a solid small room with quaint decorations, the shower was nice and the room was very clean. We were greeted by little salted caramels waiting on your pillows which I rationed wisely. Fortunately for me, my husband "doesn't like sweets" so I got 2! The common areas are very cozy and perfect for reading a book, playing board games or catching up with friends. There were often sweet treats like cookies and brownies in the common area, a dream for a sweet-tooth like me! Kathy and Rick are wonderful welcoming innkeepers and are always available to lend a hand, an ear or much welcome recommendations! Our stay happened to land on a holiday so their kids were also around and were both equally nice and friendly. Somehow this review is already longer than War and Peace and I haven't even gotten to the best part... Rick's breakfast! So for those of us out there with a touch of ADD, I think I'll let the pictures speak for themselves.... However, I will say one last thing: Rick's passion for cooking and the joy he experiences serving his creations to others is palpable (and highly palatable!). We will definitely be back! read more

Came here for my mother's wedding. We requested to book the entire inn because we were a large group. They confirmed that we could and we went ahead and booked it. Upon arrival, they informed us that there were other guests staying at the inn. Which was okay, we accepted it. But before we could even go to our rooms the Inn Keeper, Robin said to all of us "This is not a frat house and we need to drink in our rooms". We didn't even make it in the front door before we were insulted. Then on my mother's wedding day, they ran out of oil and no one was able to take a shower. Well, you could but it was FREEZING cold water. Robin, the Inn keeper didn't even apologize. Instead she came up to our room and basically yelled at us for running the water. At night she would tell us to go to bed. It was just ridiculous. The place is absolutely beautiful. Kristine who ran the front desk was amazing. She was basically trying to make up for how bad Robin was. The wedding was beautiful but The inn keeper really was terrible. Made us feel unwelcome. Only because we were a large group. Even tho we requested to have the whole Inn. I hope to the next people who go there, she shows greater respect to. read more

Do not trust what you are told over the phone about the cancellation policy. Talked to Jackson House Inn directly to make my reservation and was told that if cancelling before 14 days of arrival the deposit would be returned minus a $50 fee - which is fine. Now I am told it is 30 days prior to arrival or no deposit return. I was told that they did not know who booked the reservation for me so going forward, hopefully anyone booking in the future will get someone who has been fully trained with the correct information. If my reservation can be re-booked, I was offered a gift card minus the $50 for a future visit. No thank you! I will take the loss instead of staying at an inn with such rude staff. read more

The Jackson House Inn was by far the best B&B (or hotel or resort or anything for that matter) that I have ever stayed at. Rick and Kathy are amazing hosts. They are there to offer help if you want, but they are also willing to step back if your party would like its independence. The House: Full of charm. Everything feels clean and new, while maintaining the traditional decor of the area. The house is spotless, I would be surprised if I found a speck of dust anywhere. The Rooms: Large and beautiful and clean. The beds were very comfortable and each room was charmingly unique. The bathrooms were clean and modern with ample space. The Grounds: Beautiful expanse of grass and trees. Past the small brook on the back of the property there is a beautiful pond with chairs. It is the perfect spot to relax. The Breakfast: Rick should be a professional chef. His food was sourced locally. It was healthful and delicious. He took care to consider dietary constraints when composing the morning meal. They serve Vermont Coffee Company coffee, great orange juice, and cranberry juice. The Service: The service is what makes the cost worth it. A+ Kathy and Rick (the owners) only took ownership of the inn two years ago, so I recommend that when considering the Inn, you only consider reviews from the past two years. read more

First off, I should say that this place now has new owners and the old restaurant that was located on the property has been shut down. So, the old review of the place (the one Yelp will hopefully take down since it bears no relation to what is currently the Jackson House Inn) is totally not relevant. Alright, so now that we're on a clean slate let me tell you about my lovely long weekend at the Jackson House Inn. Room: My boyfriend and I stayed in the "Clara" room. BED: wonderfully plush and high enough off the ground that you feel officially like royalty. The sheets were divine and from the bed you can enjoy the fireplace and lovely view out the window (which currently looks on a bunch of snow and hills, but I'm sure is even lovelier come (real) spring). With my big Frette bathrobe on I pretty much felt like a content mini-goddess. BATHTUB: Ok, when I go off somewhere for a lovely B&B weekend I have two, well no, three, three main demands of a place. And what's number uno on my list? A bathtub. I want a giant bathtub so I can buy some bubbly goodness and spend one night enjoying a soak while I pretend I'm no longer in law school. And boy did this place have it! The bathtub is gloriously large and even has little bubbly jets you can turn on to various degrees. And while I'll talk about the divine god-like food this place has later, let's just say there was me, bubbles, and some seriously tasty chocolate chip cookies. It was a good night. FOOD: Oh sweet god. So Rick is the husband of the owning duo and oh my god - the food he makes is divine. DIVINE! Like, let's put it this way [and I'm not exaggerating] we ate at two of the best (so we're told) restaurants in Woodstock (Simon Pearce and Osteria Pane e Salute) and without question the best food we had in Woodstock was our breakfast by Rick. Seriously. The first morning we were greeted with two courses: course one: a delicious yogurt parfait with some amazing maple syrup and pumpkin puree. course two: a quiche with caramelized onions, turkey, and a bunch of other stuff that blew my mind. Oh and the bacon. THE BACON!!! It's basically bacon baked with sugar and pecans. If bacon were candy this was it. In fact, if someone wants to just make me a bag of this stuff and mix in little pieces of dark (yet milk) chocolate, I would seriously consider marriage. Day two was: course one: a light and wonderful fruit combo of blood orange, grapefruit varieties, little apple pieces etc. all tossed in some sort of awesome juice. course two: I like to call it the "I hope you're not a diabetic" bread pudding with a citrus-cranberry brothy thing. He told us the bread pudding had day old eggs from right down the street and oh sweet god. I can't even describe how good it was. All I could think was "why the hell did we spend so much money going out to meals... we should have just begged them to have us over for dinner!" I also thought "I would like to [in true law school form] adversely possess this man and have him cook for me every day." ...but I then realized that I, unlike his gene-blessed wife and child, would be 300 pounds as a result. At which point I started the "why do the gods [and by the gods I mean the scale] hate me but not them?!" rant. Anyway, suffice it to say if you're looking for a truly awesome B&B experience in the Woodstock area, this is the place to go. The room was wonderful, the owners are super friendly, the area is cute (esp. if you're into cheese and maple syrup), and the food was out of this world good. I've only stayed at two or three B&Bs before, but I have stayed at a couple hundred hotels in my lifetime. If I knew B&B's met Jackson House's standards, I'd probably stay at them more often. Do not trust the staff to take care of you at the Jackson House Inn. I made reservations months ahead and found I was having a heart issue and called (weeks ahead of my reservation, well within the cancellation time) and was told by a very nice staff member that she would give me extra time if I needed it. I didn't take advantage of that and called to cancel well within the allotted time (according to the website). However, the manager, (Robin I think) blew a gasket, tried to tell me I wasn't within the time and that she was not responsible for what a member of her staff have told me (even indicated the nice staff member was in a lot of trouble). After 4 phone calls, the manager finally admitted she had miscounted the cut off time and I was refunded the deposit. It wasn't until later that I realized she had charged me $50 for each of the 2 rooms that I had reserved, not just $50 for my reservation. To add to the aggravation, Robin was extremely rude every time we spoke, very argumentative, even when she was wrong, and hung up on me. In spite of the fact that we have been returning every year, I WILL NEVER STAY AT THE JACKSON HOUSE INN IN WOODSTOCK, VERMONT. I highly recommend the Woodstock Inn, however. Rick and Kathy were fantastic! We stayed in Clara's corner suite for the weekend. The room was quaint and cozy! Take advantage of the bathtub which offers a variety of different massage options. The fire place was great, it quickly heated the room when we got back from dinner or our excursion. Kathy gave us great recommendations for dinner. She was knowledgeable when it came to fine dining restaurants and casual sit down joints. Our favorite part of our stay was breakfast. Rick has a real passion for food and it shows! Breakfast was the highlight of our day during our stay. It's served in two courses, you have the option to eat early 8:15 or later 9:15. Everything was made to order and Rick makes it a point to use local ingredients in all of his dishes. We will be back! read more

Jackson House Inn is simply phenomenal, maybe the best B & B experience we've ever had. Our room and the Inn itself are first-class, Rick and Kathy are truly special hosts. Rick's passion for food comes through so easily and naturally, and he has a right to be proud of his breakfasts. The Inn was quiet and exceedingly comfortable. Our only regret is we didn't spend more time at the property, walking the grounds, or just hanging out. Rest assured, we'll do that the next time we go (and we're definitely returning!) read more

We fought some serious snow and pushed our rental Ford Edge (not 4X4) to the edge in making our dinner reservation at the Jackson House Inn and Restaurant. We had read some great reviews and were excited to sit down and enjoy. Upon receiving our menus we noticed that the JHIR offers a four course prix fixe that included two glass of wine for $60. With some of their entrees priced at around $30 this seemed like a steal. Making the deal even better was that you could select three appetizers and an entree or no appetizers and three desserts. Basically, there weren't any rules, restrictions, or surcharges on the prix fixe menu, well except that you can't order more than one item off the entre list. I started with the scallops which were cooked to absolute perfection and seasoned perfectly. My second appetizer was the chipotle rubbed carne asada. This dish was served almost like a burrito of sorts and the steak was cooked just right at medium rare. Aside from both of these dishes being very tasty the portion size was much larger than I was expecting. I love when quantity and quality come together! My entree was the pork tenderloin which was also very well done. If I had to manufacture a complaint it would be that the pork may have been a smidge over. Other dishes included the rib eye steak, the quail, and the ravioli. We actually sent the ravioli back for being undercooked to only see it come back again under cooked. The desserts were just ehhh. I had the chocolate stout cake and it was ok. I did eat it all, but it was just ok. The decor looks like an episode of Martha Stewart Gone Wild. It's cute, warm, and very country. The most amazing fire blazed throughout the night in the double sided fire place in the middle of the dining room. The service, like everywhere in Vermont, was very genuine and pleasant. However, at times I like to rely on my server for advice and the lady we had refused to give any. According to her everything was the best. This past weekend, my boyfriend and I decided to indulge in the quintessential New England experience for our three-year anniversary, and we found that at the Jackson House Inn. I have never been to a B&B before, and this place far exceeded any romantic expectations that I had. Our stay was unbelievably cozy, and here's why: The property: The inn is a huge house sitting on three acres of land. Behind the house you can see evergreen trees frosted over in the morning and a small creek. The building consists of an 1860s-constructed portion attached to a newly renovated extension. You will find a gorgeously lit dining room with natural lighting, a fireplace with surrounding couches, a library room filled with books, a bar area with instant coffee machine, a dining room where Kathy lays out fresh coffee, and another living room with a Christmas tree and tables (we came during the holiday season). The room: Being on a student budget, we opted for the classic rooms. We initially reserved the Gloria Swanson room, but Kathy had made up the Governor Julius Converse room for us just in case we wanted to switch, and we did. The latter room had beautiful white and light blue printed wallpaper, a lot of natural light. The sheets and towels were Frette-labeled- so luxurious. The only thing that would have made it better was having a bathtub to soak in. If you would like that, definitely go with one of the suites! The breakfast: Rick is a fantastic cook. He makes everything with locally grown produce and farm-fresh supplies. The eggs he cooked with were hatched just yesterday! We started with freshly squeezed orange juice and hot coffee. The first course was a pumpkin souffle topped with homemade bourbon and molasses syrup. My boyfriend never eats dessert, and he ate every bite of it. Next, we had savory pancakes with homemade slow-churned butter ice cream, rosemary-infused cranberry sauce, and pecan-crusted bacon bits smoked over a wood oven. Rick and Kathy: The highlight of the experience was the service. Rick and Kathy made the place seem like a home- like we were actually guests, which is more than I can say for a lot of hotels/motels. The moment we came in, Kathy showed us around the property. At night when my boyfriend and I were huddled in front of the fireplace watching movies, Rick took the time to open our wine and put it on ice for us to enjoy. All I can say is perfection in every way! Matthew and Chris were the perfect hosts with many years experience in hotel and restaurant management. They thought of everything including soft, plush robes, extremely clean and very welcoming. They wanted you to feel like this was your home.
