Well, I'm very glad I did not choose them for my mother's death and memorial service!!!! I ended up paying less than 1/4 of the price most people pay, which is unheard of in this business. I had some unfortunate financial circumstances and Byrd and Flanagan's team made sure I was beyond taken care of!!!! They were very understanding, helpful, and compassionate throughout the whole process. This is exactly what you need when you're experiencing this type of life change. They blessed me so much by allowing me to go through all this with such ease and affordability. I did not do a lot of comparing when I selected them for the service...I just did quick price quote research and they were the most affordable I could find. I made one call from hospice and they were there at the exact time I requested after her passing. Gave us time that we requested but yet they were prompt and professional. My mother-in-law met with Keenan before her passing and told us she knew that was where she wanted to be and she would be "cared for" there, unlike some other places she had talked to. Their prices are much less than anywhere else, but that does not mean they cut corners and are cheap in the way they do things. Nothing but the best here. It is strange to write a review on the team who served my family's funerals and it is even harder to explain that regardless of the pain and loss "Little-Ward Funeral Home" staff made all preparations a smooth, easy transition because of the high level of respect with which they handled all services involved. I only picked this place because the medical examiner recommended it, I was in shock and didn't…read morehave any idea of where to go. First off the funeral home took almost two weeks to cremate my mother! they said it would take 72 hours. When we did hear back from them it wasn't even to pick her cremains up. It was for the death certificate. After several shady calls and dealings with their secretary, and having to go out there twice, we finally got what we can only HOPE are the ashes of our mother, we really aren't sure. Then they messed up the death certificate and when we called to get them to fix it, the secretary was incredibly rude to my sister and almost hung up on her. I am flabbergasted by the treatment we've received and in shock that this place is still in business. If you value your loved one and your own peace of mind, I would not recommend this funeral home.
