It stopped making ice, and then it got warmer. I cleaned the condenser coils, and checked the fans. Thanks to Mr. Ripley's knowledge, experience and advice, I was able to fix the Kitchen Aid with no issues. He tested my starter capacitor and let me know it was good. He asked me if I had checked for voltage at the starter relay, and other checks to determine if compressor was still good. He provided me his business card and said to call if I ran into any issues, and he could provide a service call if necessary. I was able to determine it was a bad condenser coil fan cooler and a bad starter relay on the compressor. I replaced the parts, the refrigerator produced the first batch of ice after being plugged in 1 hour and 20 minutes, works fabulous! This was above and beyond what I would expect from an appliance repair shop. I highly recommend this business if you have an appliance issue or need assistance ordering parts.
