Hired Jackson's Tree Service for a second job to cut about 20 tress on the border of my property. I continue to be impressed with the quality of work including an experienced crew, first rate equipment and a fair price. A crane skillfully lifted the trees out of place, lowered to the road and the men sawed the trunk and chipped the branches. Great outfit. Got 3 quotes this past Spring on cutting 7 large Pines in our yard. Lee showed up for meeting/quote right on time. I was impressed with his knowledge and willingness to quote the job as economically as we could. Decided to hire even though they were booked until late October. Would have liked to have gotten an emailed quote to confirm the details quoted, but after a couple attempts at this, we just decided to hope all would be the same come October. As it turns out, all was exactly as we had discussed. Crew showed up on the scheduled date and did a fantastic job of everything from the cutting to the clean up. We were extremely impressed. I think my yard was cleaner after they left, than before they got there. I assumed that I would have to take care of things like trimming the stumps and cleaning up the debris left behind, but no, they took care of all of it -right down to using a leaf blower on the grass. Can't say enough. In fact, we have already scheduled them to come back and take down 3 more. Sadly, he is booked until early Summer of 2021. read more

Lee Jackson and his crew took down five trees on our property last week, and we were impressed by their professionalism, efficiency and work ethic. They arrived promptly and immediately got down to work dropping the trees and removing the trunks and branches. The work was completed in about 3 hours and our yard was raked. Very pleased with Jacksons. Licensed and insured, Lee provided me with the professional advice about which trees had to be cut due to age or disease, which could be saved and which just needed to be trimmed. This small family owned business provides an honest day's work at a decent price, less than I expected. Any small trees were cut up into stove lengths for my fireplace and piled together at my request and the men also raked the yard of sticks and debris and swept the street near the chipper. They work non stop without wasting any time. Great work ethic and coordination of tasks. Interesting to watch them work, from a distance. Calls and emails are responded to promptly. I highly recommend Jackson's for quality work and advice, hard working crew, professionalism and a fair, honest price. I would not feel a need to check with any other service. We called Jackson's Tree removal service after we lost 4 limbs from our pine tree next to our home this winter. These limbs were 10-12 inches in diameter and when they hit our roof thank goodness it wasn't butt first. As much as we didn't want to have the tree cut down, it was necessary as not to have any future damage to our home. We called Jackson's as they had done some work for us years ago and decided to go with them again. Lee showed up and gave us an estimate. At first the price seemed high but when he explained that a crane was needed to do the job as safely as possible I understood. He said he would work us in on a future job he already needed a crane for and that saved us some money. The whole neighborhood was out to watch as the crane removed the huge pine tree piece by piece, lowered to the road, limbed and chipped and loaded onto a truck. Jackson's Tree removal service was hired to cut down and remove a tree from our backyard. The tree cutting was uneventful. The tree was cut up into 10 to 12 feet sections, probably weighing a ton or two each, they picked up the logs with their tractors and drove out front with the heavy load. It wasn't necessary to drive all over the front lawn, but they did, making ruts and divots in the grass. The tree pieces were brought out to the front lawn to be cut up. In the process, they dropped the wood on the shrubs and flowers(one of the shrubs was planted to commemorate a child, very sad to see it hurt). During one of the trips from the back yard to the front lawn, they ran over another shrub and ripped the phone line off the house. The cost of the tree removal was 1000 dollars, the cost to repair and replace the landscaping will be 500 dollars, plus the cost the phone company charges for the wire. After their destruction, the cost of the tree removal was not reduced. If I had to do it again, I would leave the tree alone. read more
