Went to the Black Rodeo here and had a lot of fun. Re accessibility - there is an elevator to reach the mezzanine level with stroller and wheelchair parking. Unfortunately, the light was out so we rode in pitch black. A little creepy but it was a quick ride so not a big deal. I was able to bring a stroller into the venue for this event. Not sure, not off to a good start. Four employees sitting about, one person picking up packages. Have to wait for more staff while the three are engaged on their phones. Only one of there greets, but all three look up. Not sure, but I hope the activity is better than the introduction. So far, I can only give 1 star. I am not a happy participant. Update... The Bubble Run was Bubbleious...there were soooo many people out there, but it was an amazing time had by all. So much fun. I had never been out here before but decided to venture out to see my friend compete in a horse show. The center was closer than I thought and easy to get to. Tons of parking to choose from, so we parked up front. We got out and saw horses lodged and warming up with their humans. We watched the warm up and saw all kinds of horses in the background. When the weather is good, it's such an invigorating experience to be outside and see horses. Then, we went inside to see the actual competition. Lots of seats and good views. Bathrooms in and outside. The space has lots of different kinds of events and is a great space for fun. read more

What a nice event area. Its is very user friendly..has elevators and different seating options. Bleachers with wide concrete blocks for seats and bleacher chairs that are comfortable. Any seating you choose gets a great visual of the action. The bathrooms were big and had 1 concession area which all were on the first floor. The arena is up one floor which really works for the design. They have 2 outdoor areas in the back but not much in bleachers. They had area for vendors to set up who had some current event related clothing and ranch products. Parking was widely available and I didn't feel like I had to walk forever to the venue. Today, my father and I went to the Jacksonville Equestrian Center to see the Black Rodeo. Firstly, they had several parking attendants outside assisting and directing vehicles to their parking spots. The Center itself, is of an adequate size to accommodate an event such as the Black Rodeo. The event center has bleacher style seating towards the top and assigned seats towards the bottom. We had an great experience at this arena watching a family member and friends ride in a Dressage show. It is definitely an artform/sport. One we are not trained in but completely enjoyed watching and learning about. Kids our constant companions, we were quiet (a must here) during the riders shows and got to walk through the barns to meet the stars post rides. As a spectator, the facility was exactly what we needed. Clean and convenient restrooms, great seats and sound at the indoor arena seats, benches to watch the outdoor riders, plenty of free parking, water free and available and the barns were close to the performance areas. As a sidenote: the MR (raised around dressage and hunter jumper stables) assures me that the stables were on par with good performance arenas he has been to. read more

The facility itself is nice, open, and airy. It is well maintained and for the most part, kept pretty clean. Ample parking, but only one way in and one way out which causes a big pile up at the end of your event! There's usually a parking attendant to collect money for the space, but never anyone directing traffic out, so it is really a free-for-all. And it doesn't help that there are multiple venues in this complex, all merging to one lane trying to exit, creating a long, backed up line. Plus it's located directly off a busy highway, so each car takes time to pull out or cut across into traffic. They do host some pretty cool events, but I was very disappointed in the Garden Bros Circus. They pass out "free" tickets and do multiple shows at this venue, but it is clearly a money grab once you get there. Kids are free, but adult tickets go up to $30 each, parking was $10 per car, $10 for each bounce house entry and each pony ride, and the concession prices were seriously inflated! We're talking $12 each for popcorn, cotton candy, and funnel cakes. I realize alot of circuses have high prices for stuff, but this was ridiculous and the circus performance wasn't even worth the price. The circus is very small compared to the size of the venue, so that was a bit awkward. I didn't want to hold this too much against the actual venue, but hey, they booked these people and made serious money from it as well, so they are part of the problem. read more

Came here to see the RV show. Tons of parking out in the fields and paved parking lots. We went in seniors day and tickets were half price. All the staff working that day were very friendly and helpful. Restrooms are easily found outside the exhibit room. There is also a cafe serving up hot food and drinks. There seemed to be enough room for all the booths. Most booths had happy friendly upbeat people working them. Everyone was trying to get your info. A lot of spin the wheel and get a gift. But in order to get the gift you have to give them your info. Very sly! Outside the RVs were set up according to their companies. Very easy walking around. Sales prices were written on a few models. Music was playing on loud speakers as you walked around. Sales people were not pushy. It was great being able to go inside and check out any RV that caught your eye. There were a few companies that were giving away free bags, frisbees and balls. Most wanted your info. But we avoided those. Nice place for an big RV show like this. read more

Love this place, been to numerous mud runs, color runs and now a bubble run here. I wish this place was open to run rhe back 40 all the time... Hmmmm maybe it is, i need to check on that. Its always clean and parking is easy and very convenient. I only gave a 4 * because i wish they would open the normal restrooms for all events.. read more
