This has to do with Officer Dorcelien shooting on October 4, 2019 at 10:40 pm at the Northside Walmart. I'm the Dad of Bruce Clark and we need to clarify some of the stuff your Chief said about Bruce. First of all the OUI he's talking about that Brucey had way back in the past was because he wouldn't put the card board tube in his mouth because the Cop touched it and he has mental illness and just wouldn't do it so as you know if you don't except the tests you automatically get a summons for OUI in Maine. Also he didn't even drink. It was his illness making him drive erratically so his Mom and I went to the DA's office and made the OUI stick anyway to get his lic. taking away. THAT's the real story Chief idiot. Then he said Bruce had lots of run ins with the Law in Maine. " YA Dum Dum of course he had issues!!! He's mentally ill ! He did make a big mistake by spraying bug spray at the officer but the officer was NOT injured. He had many other options other then shooting to kill our son. He could have used a taser or better yet rushed him and took him down. This boy only weighed 100 to 110 lbs and only ate once or twice a week. He moved here three years ago to be in warmer weather. It's the fact that it's the Jacksonville department and it gives all of Jacksonville a bad name, especially since I'm from Florida, but whichever sheriff stood up and made a public announcement about William McNeil Junior - the video that it's currently gone viral of him resisting peacefully, and then the cops beating the crap out of him is currently going viral online. I didn't realize sheriffs were allowed to beat the crap out of citizens who were resisting peacefully - should lose his job, especially because he is gaslighting his own citizens, not only that but the public on social media, by saying that "just because we see the small clip of the video of violence doesn't mean that violence actually happened" - that is called gaslighting and that is inappropriate, the majority of us saw exactly what was happening so exactly what violence took place, and we saw exactly who was on the receiving end of that violence, and who was pushing that violence, and it was none other than the sheriffs themselves pushing that violence. The people meant to protect and serve have become a symbol of everything wrong with unchecked power and lack of accountability. Transparency is nowhere to be found, and every attempt to raise concerns seems to be swept under the rug. When a community fears its law enforcement more than it trusts them, something is deeply broken. And yet, the silence from leadership is deafening.
