My mother passed out several times that evening, and I called 911 at…read moreapproximately 8:07 p.m. The ambulance arrived around 8:20 p.m. We were told that we could not ride with her in the ambulance, but that we could follow behind to the hospital. When we arrived, we were instructed to go to the ER waiting room, let staff know who we were with, and that once my mother was placed in a room, we would be able to go to the back. While my sister and I were in the waiting room, a staff member called my mother's last name, told us she could now have two visitors, gave us a pass, and used her key card to let us in the back. Once we walked to the back, a tall man in scrubs immediately stopped us, put his hands up, and questioned why we were there. We explained that we had just been called and shown a visitor pass. He said we should not be there and then brought over another woman, who also spoke to us in an aggressive and dismissive manner. After we explained multiple times that we were following the instructions we had just been given, we were eventually allowed through. As we walked toward my mother's room, one of the EMTs grabbed my arm and said, "You know you're not supposed to follow us here." I told him I did not know anything about that, that I was only worried about my mother, and that we had followed the instructions given to us. He then became more aggressive and got in my face. This was an extremely upsetting experience. My mother was having a medical emergency, and instead of being treated with professionalism and compassion, my sister and I were met with hostility, aggression, and disrespect.

They insist on being a PCP and if anything arises that needs a specialist - they use in-house specialist that they consult by phone and review the patient chart, blood work, x-rays, CT scans, MRI, etc...and advises the PCP how to treat. Only willing to send to their in-house list of Specialist. Loved one went to see them with one concern - and has developed multiple issues because things were missed. Had the same issue - Dr. Tromans spoke over myself, my sibling and my mother...not allowing us to understand or question her treatment. She told my mother her chart indicated heart disease, diabetic and kidney failure...which NONE of these applies to my mother. Ask if she had the correct chart pulled up...and was over ran by her with "yes". Unbelievable. Sad part, our seniors deserve the best care and not be taken advantage of.

I came here when I was not a patient-but I was feeling real bad and they did see me. I ended up testing positive for Covid. They took great care of me and answered all of my questions with patience and empathy. I was so impressed with them, I switched to their office that day. I've had three visits here so far. This facility appears to be under staffed, I believe the nurses are doing the best they can with what they have but a single person can only do so much. Coming here does require a level of patience and understanding. I did have a nurse stop and apologize to me which really helped me to realize that when we are sick we tend to be a little more critical of everything. I do hope they do something to increase staffing at this location because it is the only good urgent care facility on this side of town. Having been here in the past I know the treatment I initially received today is not representative of their standard treatment.
