I chose her after doing a search for "Buyer's Agent" certifications, and found that she had what I was looking for, was local, and had been in the area for a while. She was able to answer every question I tossed at her, and was very patient with me since I wanted to understand ever step of what we were doing. I was able to tell her what my specifications were--close to my work, under a certain price, and in the service area of the utilities and internet provider I prefer--and she was able to show me a few options to find out what I did and didn't like. Then, she set me up for automatic searches so I'd get sent every MLS listing that fit in my criteria. The very first one it sent me, I fell in love with. She joined me in viewing the house the first time, and even though it was little more than studs at the time, it matched all of my needs perfectly. She advised me to make an offer (it's in an area that sells fast), and I did. When we found out someone else was making an offer too, she helped me determine how best to beat that offer, and to complete everything we needed to get done before the other person could. Her process fits in perfectly for someone who does just about everything online. All documents were sent in dotloop, allowing me to sign on my computer, or even on my phone if I needed to. She was always available via text (awesome for someone who doesn't like to make calls), and worked with me around my schedule. I was able to get recommendations from her for the inspector (Tim Larkin) and the lender (Equity Prime's Steve Tiscione), and they were both excellent as well. I will, and already have, begun recommending her to others. I approached this realtor for help in searching for a new home…read more I told her my needs and my budget. I was seeking a 3 bd, 2 bath home with half to 1 acre. My budget was cash up to about 80000.00 I explained that I was a cash buyer and did not want to finance. She seemed helpful at first. However, she pushed very expensive homes far outside of my price range. 250000 to 350000.00 and something like 5 bedrooms. All too large and expensive. She never helped me find homes of the size or price range that I was seeking. On my own, I discovered a few properties that fit my needs and price. They were on her realty's website. I expressed my interest and then she became less helpful. She tried to convince me that those homes weren't appropriate for me. I found one home in particular that I was interested in and expressed interest to her. It was available and for sale. She said there were problems with it. I told her that if that weren't too bad, that I'd still be interested. She said that she'd research it for me and get back to me. I didn't hear from her for a month and the home was sold to someone else. She messaged me that month later and asked if I was still looking for a home. I reminded her about the home that I'd been interested in and that she'd never gotten back to me about it. She said that there wasn't any more info about the home. I told her that she could have at least expressed that to me. I said that I felt as if neither my time nor money was important to her due to this lack of communication. She then became very rude. She was dismissive of me and my budget. I'm under the impression that she's only interested in selling higher end homes to higher end clientele. Again, I was a cash payer, so any sale would have been quick and easy. Apparently neither me nor my money was good enough. Very disappointed in her and her lack of professionalism.
