If you are looking for allergy shots and work full-time, or even a part-time job with irregular hours, I would recommend looking elsewhere. Even for a child receiving care, I think it may present a notable magnitude of difficulty to consistently return to clinic. The limited hours at this clinic make it quite difficult to receive allergy shots regularly, only being open during weekdays as above: Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. In my mind, this absolutely makes sense for the availability of the physician onsite for consultations or follow-ups, but for the clinic as a whole failing to be more available to simply administer repeat allergy injections, I'm struggling to understand. The care I received was fine, and all the clinicians are pleasant. The physician was swift with the consult, the nurses are quick with administration of treatment, and the front-desk gets the job done. It's worth noting that after an initial consultation and plan to start allergy shots, the shots won't be ready for a significant amount of time. I believe mine were not available until around 5-6 months after my consult. I hope to work out a solution, since I have already paid for the entirety of allergy shots but began working full-time shortly after my treatment was approved. Seriously I had allergy testing done here and one spot seemed to react but the Physicians' assistant seemed to not take that too seriously. I explained that I am itching constantly so she ordered some immune panels because she thought it could be some level of autoimmune disease. The tests came back quite a while ago and yet no phone call. Two of the tests appear abnormal so I called to get results and they said I had to come in for that. I can't. I have a brand new job and can't be absent for the first four months. The receptionist said they don't do telehealth. I couldn't believe it. She wants a separate appointment to go over the lab work. Is it urgent or not? I mean I got about 8 tubes of blood taken out of me. Just tell me the results! Has she even looked at my results? Did she care to let me know what they mean? What are next steps? Never in my life has a doctor refused to call with results. I am still itching like crazy every time my cat gets near me and randomly if I touch a certain plant or my dogs food dishes. My hands will itch like crazy and I have to put lotion on them and take an Allegra. So what's the deal with the immune panel? I now have to call my regular doctor to have them refer me elsewhere. I mean honestly the PA could have cared less about my situation. I will also complain to Anthem. Can't believe they are still referring to a place with this many 1 star reviews. read more

Dr. Offenberger is great. My son was crying in the room a little and this doctor gave him a lolipop. We have to give my son this yucky medicine everyday and he was telling my kid the great news that he gets a bowl of his favorite ice cream every time he has to take it. This made my son feel relaxed and now we refer to him as Dr. Icecream .... The medicine is working and we are waiting for insurance approval to do a skin test. I have not had a bad experience with the front desk but it's obvious they are slammed so you just have to push and follow through on your own which isn't a big deal to me. I think this man is great with children and that goes a long way in my book. I also don't think the office was dirty at all. I called the office is ask to have the doctor filled out an epipen authorization form for the school and I was told that they charge for $25 for EVERY form. I'm like what the hell! He prescribed the medication and I just need the form signed just incase the school needs it. The doctor is nice but the office staff is the worst! If you're okay waiting for 2 HOURS to be seen then you're better off going somewhere else! Worst experience ever! read more

The receptionist, Jackie, was so rude to hang up on me while I was still talking. Need to look for another allergist as I have been going to this office for almost 4 years now for allergy shots and nothing has improved on my condition and even became worst. It was discovered recently that my serum does not contain the other allergens and it has to be reformulated but this Jackie did not want to listen and just hang up. read more

I was referred here by my doctor so I wouldn't have come here otherwise. This is an allergen specialist with a dusty and filthy office... how ironic. I think I had more allergies in there than outside. The attention to the patient is not so great either. It seems like they're just interested in getting you in and out. Lastly, i'm used to having my medications sent to my pharmacy but, they wrote it all down for me so I can go order them myself. This is not a huge problem but just a bit of an inconvenience and added to the entire experience. I would love to go to a different office but I also don't feel like getting poked and being itchy for 20 min again. Moral of the story... stay away if you can ! read more

I feel awful about complaining, but the CC office is horrible. Imagine being someone who has suffered from allergies their whole life...spending all your time keeping your home as dust- and allergen-free as possible, only to go to an allergist with a filthy office. Went in several times per week for shots; the floor wasn't swept for weeks at a time, so litter and dust accumulated. A trashcan in the corner of the waiting room wasn't empied for weeks at a time, and at one point I observed ants in the waiting room two times that I went. Perhaps I'm a bit too picky, but I had to stop going because it was bothering me too much. read more

I agree a very rude sarcastic doctor. I came to see him with my 10yr old son and wife. Asked him a couple of questions about my son's skin condition and what contributed to it. His replies were very rude and sarcastic. This doctor was trying to embarrass me with his dumb ass answers in front of my wife and son. I do regret not saying anything in person. read more

Nearly impossible to reach and zero follow through. They don't answer the phone most of the time and when they do, they say they're not the right office and that office is only open during certain rare hours. Then they can't find you in their files. I was put on three different meds that don't work and told to come back in a month. But they never made the appointment or got an approval or thought to find out what was happening. These folks obviously don't need our business and can't be bothered. It would be easier to reach the Pope. Time to find a practice that cares. This one is allergic to patients. read more

We had a similar experience to other client. Manners were non-existent. We were asked what we had done and as we explained what other doctors had told us to do, we were treated like morons for doing it. Also, we should know everything about the allergy specialty and because we didn't understand and needed something written down, we were such an inconvenience. We have received another referral to this office and if unable to get a different provider will try to see Dr. O, not the other provider in this practice. read more

I came in for an allergy test, got the results same day. Doctor was really nice, strong accent though. However I did have an apt, and took a good 20 mins to get in, little annoyed at that, especially since I was there early to fill out paper work. Overall really nice staff, professional. read more

This practice is high volume and not patient centered. I did not care for the doctors bedside manner. The office lacks professionalism. Had an appointment for 8:00 and the staff arrived and unlocked the door at 8 or a little after on multiple occasions. I've never been to a doctor that opened the office or had front desk staff arriving at the same time as the first scheduled appointment. Their policies are not patient friendly (hours, school/work notes, scheduling of appointments/shots). The nurses that administered the shots were good and nice. They were the only aspect of the practice that was acceptable. read more

Please don't bother with this office. The front desk people do not care about their patients AT ALL. My daughter has severe eczema that tends to get infected and at one point got admitted in CHLA so I really have to keep a close eye on her skin and I wanted her to get an allergy test to find out what triggers her flare ups. The pharmacy didn't give her enough prednisolone to last for 4 days which is required before he gives her the allergy test. I called and personally spoke to Dr. Offenberger and he assured me that when our pharmacy faxes over the request he will take care of it. Well my husband went to the pharmacy and there is no medication so I called the pharmacy and apparently this office never did anything to the request they faxed. HORRIBLE place to take your loved ones as these people don't really care about their patients. read more

Protocol for COVID-19 is in place which is nice. Girl at the front desk tries to be nice but feels a little forced to do so not very genuine and gets annoyed at patients asking questions or for help. Probably just a little overwhelmed must have too much work in the front I can see how that might be possible. Doctor was informative nurses are nice and answer questions nicely until they can make sure you understand. Overall has been a good experience so far but does need a little more work on patient care from front desk. read more

Dr. Offenburger is the best! Don't listen to the negative reviews. Every physician I speak to in scv sends their patients to him and recommends him very highly. He is compassionate, but also busy because he's helping ALOT of people. He is not greedy, he is a rare breed of old fashioned doctor. read more

Complete waste of time and money. Don't bother. Gave me the same old crap that I said has never worked and contradicted a diagnosis my previous dr gave me. I looked it up on the Mayo Clinic when I left, and my previous dr was correct. Full of crap and will not listen. read more

Why this doctor has no reviews? I took my 5 months old and 3 years old to see this doctor and the reason I give him 2 stars is because him and his staff were actually very nice, but be aware this doctor took a look at my kids for less than 10 minutes and prescribed 4 medications without any tests , one of the medication that he wanted my both children under for a long period of time is called singulair which is very known to cause side effects like depression, nightmares and aggressiveness. He also failed to tell me about all those side effects. Since than I went to 2 another allergist doctors for second and 3rd opinions and I had a completely different experience with them . I really recommend you not to take your kids to this doctor read more

After years of suffering from what many doctors told my daughter was eczema and prior allergy tests which all came back normal.....Dr Offenberger took one look at her and told her she definitely had allergies.....gave her the proper meds and cleared it up in 2 days. Sure enough the tests he did, properly, came back showing she did have allergies. Not to be too dramatic, but he changed her life. Her itchiness, puffiness and swelling is all under control.
