The 2nd officer was about to throw flairs out when the 3rd car spun out and the officer had to jump out of the way and the guy hit tge cruiser instead. At 645 truck was picked up an i specifically asked if i could get a ride so i can get my stuff out before it started to rain (passenger window was down and no way to wind up). The driver said we dont open till 9am. I said ok what if u just take me to the steet infront of the business and i can get my stuff out before it goes onto ur property? He says again we dont ooen till 9. Talk to the officer about getting off the interstate. Between 645-9an my truck was broken into. At 930 I call to make sure someone was there and found out my truck was broken into. Owner gave me her number and said she wasn't making a claim so she would "figure things out with me". 3 weeks and multiple calls and txt to the driver to relay my message to her since the number she gave me is no longer active. (About 1200 worth of stuff was stolen). There was a camra and u see the guy but no leads with the police and case was closed. Between the braken and the 1st 2 weeks i have have multiple txt and calls with the driver and he did explain the owner was sick then was dealing with family issues. Which I understand but "she" never reached herself and explain the situations that came up. I called and txt the driver multiple times since the truck was broken in to and he sent my messages out to her and he told me she would reach out. After a month I still haven't received any contact from her. Even with everything going on she still could have reached out and explain but she did/hasn't. Also just found out that SHE never gave the police the recording of the theft.
