What little housewares they do offer are dirty, broken, and things that should go to the dump, not be offered for sale. They have almost no books, dvds, games, puzzles, or other media and I know they have to be getting a lot of that type of stuff donated to them - so where is it all going?? As to the clothes they offer. They are all low-end, cheap brands (Target, Walmart, Kohl's, etc) and they price them all too high. If Goodwill wants to be charitable, how about not gouging prices for clothes that are cheap to begin with and mark them what they're really worth. The store also always looks dirty and unorganized. It makes you feel like you need to run and take a shower after you've been there.

They also have limited hours which can be a problem for anyone who works and/or has a busier schedule. The only day I can visit is Saturday and they close at 4pm even on that day. They are closed on Sunday. The prices are reasonable for a thrift store and they have half off based on the color of some tags. I did find one item half off. A fun storage container. I got a cute top to to wear with leggings for $3. They have a small room in the back that is called the vintage room. There were a few, nice pieces but they were all very small sizes. They were okay prices but maybe a smidge high for thrifting. That selection was a little disappointing but maybe it's better on other days. They had a big table of Dunkin' Donuts bagged coffee and pods at really good prices but it was all pumpkin spice which really isn't my thing but if it's yours, you should head over (this is as of 2/4/23)! I may visit again and check if they sometimes get in other flavors. Have cash on-hand or be prepared to pay an additional 4% fee to use a debit or credit card. The store isn't that big and I was there on a Saturday, so it was rather crowded and I had to stand in line about 10-15 minutes because there was only one register. That's not a complaint because this is a small, charity thrift store. I bet the 2 or 3 ladies I saw who appeared to being working there are volunteers. I just want to people you know what to expect, so of you are in a big hurry, you may want to skip going until you have a little more time. The neighborhood in Mandeville where it's located is a walkable area with a couple of restaurants right down the street, The Rusty Pelican and Hambone. Free public parking lot is directly across the street from Gran's if you can't find a spot on the street. If you like thrifting, you should check out Gran's if you are in the neighborhood.

She's usually giving away school uniforms or has them extremely cheap. My kids find some kind of treasure each time we're there. Lots of Vendors specialty items right by the front counter. Their clothes tend to be much better brands than your typical Walmart and Target clothes the other thrift stores are full of. Their prices are reasonable as well. This is my favorite thrift store to go to when in Hattiesburg.
