I met with Sara Kline (one in person consultation and the rest via phone, as I live out of state), who went over all the various services Parsonage offered and showed me a ton of pictures from her portfolio. From the beginning, she was always willing to listen to what I wanted, what our budget was (this was a deal breaker with some of the other florists, who would quote things out of our budget or change the flowers so drastically that it wasn't even close to what I wanted), flexible when I decided to change things, and had lots of great suggestions to make things work best. Our flowers turned out great - I was so worried that our arrangements would look too small (I wasn't into the whole tall centerpiece thing), but they were perfect. We got so many compliments on the simplicity but yet modern style we chose for our flowers. Sara also suggested tying our gold theme into the flowers by using gold glitter in the water. We ended up getting a mix of white hydrangeas, blush peonies, blush ranunculus, and assorted pink stock. Parsonage also provided all the candles and vases - we were doing a gold theme, so I really wanted gold Mercury glass, which they had no shortage of! We booked our linens too, since we got a 10% discount for doing it all together. We had no issues with the delivery out to Ann Arbor and pickup was just the same. Would definitely recommend to any bride in the metro Detroit area!

And although their prices aren't cheap -- the money is well worth it not only because of their gorgeous work, but also for their quality of service. I had the pleasure of working with Sara Kline, who from start to finish was a total professional and very knowledgeable. She was friendly, easy to work with, and passionate. She was also a great listener, making sure she understood exactly what I wanted, and was always available to go over details with me. A bonus was that she was willing (and knowledgeable enough about various types of flowers) to successfully work within my budget. I knew Parsonage would do a great job, but on the day of my wedding I was simply blown away. The arrangements had far exceeded my expectations. The venue looked simply stunning. There are so many things that can go wrong on the day of your wedding, and as a bride I'd prepared myself to be OK with that. Absolutely arrogant staff members! I have frequented this location for years as I've liked their…read moreplants. But today's staff interaction was the worst. Because of the snotty talkback by two girls here I put back my $200 worth of plants and walked out. I'll be finding another greenhouse to frequent. The vegetables were not well marked and I got to the register and when they rang up at a higher price I questioned it. I was told all of those 4" plants are a different price than what is posted all around the rest of the area. Apparently some plants do not have a flat price but EVERYTHING else in the area does! Also the price difference was only on sticks inside of the flats and concealed. All other isles have well marked LARGE signs with individual and flat prices that say "All Vegetables". I tried to explain to the girl that this was confusing to the customer how it's laid out and got told in a very snobby way "if you say so sir" along with a cheeky forced smile with gritted teeth. Bottom line management you need to correct the attitude of some of your staff and please clearly mark sections if there is a difference from all the other rows. I don't know maybe a Big Sign at each end of the isle that says "all vegetables in this row are X price".
