Sad to say I am extremely disappointed. They damaged our new dishwasher, didn't tell us. A huge…read morescratch because they didn't screw in a bolt all the way. Then they tried to make it our job to fix it and call the manufacturer ourselves. 4 months later and it's still not fixed. Placed the tub too far away from the facet the water filled half in the tub and half out into the floor! Charged us $1250 to place our tub (too far away yes). It drained soooooooo slow and they wanted to charge us $1500 more to fix it. Forgot to put the drain pipe to our water filter into the pipe and flooded our basement TWICE! Damaged our stuff both times. Didn't hook up the 3rd line to our washing machine and the first time we used it water leaked EVERYWHERE. Everything we purchased they didn't know how to install but the options they provided were cheap low quality. They installed our Kraus garage disposal but it leaked immediately. They said it was the brand and would only fix if we paid $600 for the generic brand that they provided. Plus we had to eat the cost of the one they installed incorrectly. We were told there would always be a master plumber on site but an apprentice did ALL the work 95% of the time alone or with a student. Installed the pipes under the sink in a way that you couldn't utilize the cabinet AT ALL. They fixed it but only after we asked, why it was installed that way in the first place is beyond me and I'm not a plumber. We bought Kohler bathroom fixtures from Kohler directly and they needed us to replace the diverter valve and shower head because they broke the diverter during install and honestly I think they just didn't tighten the shower head right but it leaked so they told us it was bad. Had to have them come back out to adjust the shower knob because it was installed in a way that it couldn't fully turn on, it was being stopped too soon. Then we had to have them out again to fix the temperature within the fixture because it wouldn't allow it to turn on all the way hot. Charged an arm and a leg to install the toilet... within a few days it was rocking. Bolts weren't in place. Had them come fix. It was rocking immediately after they left, I honestly don't think they didn't anything. Still rocks now. The list goes on. We spent (they charged us) a lot of money doing a whole house rebuild with addition. The quality of work at the end of the day was poor. We made the mistake of paying in full for the work. Would not recommend! Definitely would not recommend if you plan to buy your own stuff for them to install and their options are cheap/low quality which they charge you more than you pay for the highest end.

I want to give a huge shout out to Dan at Mastery Plumbing. My sister's garbage disposal had…read morestopped working along with a few leaks and she was recommended to reach out. Hesitant due to some difficult times, she said she would reach out when she could. Unbeknownst to her the person who recommended him, who was currently doing work at the house, let Dan know that things have been difficult. Dan proactively reached out to her to ask if he could come take a look at least. Dan ended up going above and beyond for her and was a true blessing in her time of difficulty. Although never meeting Dan in person I can say that he is a stand up honest guy and if more had similar values the world would be a nicer place. Needless to say we all his number saved now for when we need a plumber we can trust. Thank you Dan and God bless

While we have used Coopersburg Plumbing three times over the past 13 years and have always been…read moresatisfied with our service, we will never use these services again after been charged for a free estimate that was never provided. We were experiencing issues with a second floor walk-in shower, but failed to receive an estimate after three attempts from Coopersburg Plumbing Company. We had opened a hole in our first floor ceiling to gain visibility of the leak and where the water damage was coming from. Each time an employee came, they shifting the responsibility to another arm of the company. The first person who came out was a plumbing employee who stated that the issue was cracked grout on the opposite side of the water damage. He stated that construction would need to look at it to provide an estimate. The second attempt, from construction, the employee stated that, despite widening the hole in the ceiling and showing where the water was coming from during use and water marks indicating where damage had been occuring, that this was a plumbing issue and plumbing would need to address. The third attempt, a different plumbing employee, Mark, incorrectly told us that the threshold to the shower was un-tiled and that it was a construction issue. Even if this were the case, water doesn't leak through grout or untreated drywall without an issue with the shower pan or liner! I believe that they saw the amount of work and inconvenience of attempting to a partial demolition and tile work and decided to abandon the project. At no point did we receive an estimate. At no point did the employees perform any work. At no point were these employees in our home from more than 10 minutes. At no point were we advised the appointments were anything but an attempt to draw up an estimate. However, Coopersburg Plumbing Company has charged me. The first invoice was sent 90 days after the lack of estimate. When I called in to the company, I was advised NOT to pay the invoice and that they would look into it. Now, two months later, I received a second invoice, with a late charge! When I called to inquire about this invoice, after I thought this had been resolved this year, the owner, Fred, talked over me, refused to acknowledge the failure of the company to provide an estimate and the frustration of multiple attempts to resolve our leaking shower. A glaring lack of accountability/pass-the-buck mentality from employees and gross disrespect from ownership is how you turn a decades loyal customer into a vehement detractor.

Anyway, I used Coopersburg Plumbing for the first time in quite a while. While I was not happy with them for various reasons, I must say I was very happy with the technician who checked out the AC recently. However, the technicians were never the problem. Dean Stein (a.k.a.Dr. Dean), who is not there anymore, was the BEST ever when it came to plumbing issues. I notice he was also given rave reviews on Angi's site. After talking to Fred, I think they are trying to do better and I will be giving them more of my business once again. P.S. See if you can get Dean back!

I actually wanted to do the job myself but it was pretty involved. It would have taken me about 8 hours to fix. It was done professionally in just less than 4 hours. Awesome company to work with! Will recommend highly.

Here's the story: Several years ago, Edwin Stipe replaced our A/C. We were happy with the install, and happy with the technicians who have been inspecting the unit as part of the service plan. This is why we chose Edwin Stipe for the furnace and water heater install. Tim Fleischood of Edwin Stipe came to our house and made recommendations for the work. It sounded reasonable, and based on past work, we went ahead with the job. One of the problems I had with the old furnace was the filter was located inside the furnace and it was always collapsing. Tim said no one installed the filter in the furnace anymore, and promised it would be on the outside in the ductwork. Installation day came. The workers were friendly and respectful of our property, donning booties to keep the floor clean as the brought equipment and tools in and out of the house. This is where the positives end. When the installation was complete, I discovered the filter was installed inside the furnace, just like Tim said it would NOT be. The workers said it would be OK and the filter would not collapse. I grudgingly said OK, and they left. When they left, they said someone would contact me for the permit inspections. The A/C was running and after a couple of hours I decided to check out the filter. I had to remove 4 or 5 sheet metal screws to access the filter (ridiculous!) and the filter was indeed collapsing. Looking at the installation, I noticed, among other things, the gas to the furnace was off. WTH? Clearly the furnace was never tested, and no one said anything about returning any time to turn on the gas or testing the furnace! There were also massive air leaks in the duct work where they had installed a transition piece for the new furnace. I contacted Tim, explained my frustration, and he said they would return. The same tech who did the installation returned (I hope he never returns again). He told me (believe it or not), it doesn't matter if there are air leaks because its in the house. What?? He had absolutely no answer as to why the gas was left off and asked if I wanted the furnace tested. Uh, yeah! The tech turned on the gas and ran the furnace for about 30 seconds. He cut a very jagged hole in the side of the ductwork, mutilated a filter because it didn't fit, and cut a piece of exhaust flue in half, straightened it out, and screwed it over the filter. I was livid! It was the worst hack job I've ever seen. I contacted Tim (yet again) and sent him a picture of what was done. He promised that someone would come out fix everything. A few days later, another installation team came out and installed a proper filter holder. They left and I thought all was good. After a month and a half, I contacted Edwin Stipe to ask if a permit was applied for, because no one had contacted me for an inspection. They said they had mailed the permit information to me and I would have to contact the township for the inspection. OK, but it would have been nice if they had told me that in the beginning! Well, today were the inspections, one for electrical, one for mechanical. The electrical inspector noted that the top of the 2 foot conduit was not supported and it should be. He said it was sloppy work and he would talk to the installer. He didn't fail it, since I said I'd support the conduit. The mechanical inspector noted that the exhaust for the water heater should have a minimum of 3 screws equally spaced at each exhaust joint. Of four joints, only one had enough screws holding it together. He gave me the option of him failing the inspection or I could add screws. I promised to add screws. As much as I would have wanted Edwin Stipe to return and complete the job to the point it could pass inspection, I really didn't want to schedule them to come out yet another time, and have to reschedule the inspection. Plus, I'm not really sure they would have done it correctly. So, zero communication, three visits to complete the installation, sloppy work, and an installation I had to complete in order to pass inspection. Would I recommend Edwin Stipe? Certainly not!
