Monica took the time with me to go over all of the different chakras and explain the process, which I felt was invaluable. She's certainly an easy person to talk to and very approachable with questions for those new to Reiki. With regards to the session itself, I can't even begin to describe how I physiologically felt. I could feel my body completely at ease, but my heart was beating pretty intensely. At times, I even felt that I was having some sort of out of body experience. Let me just reiterate- I am a complete novice with the process and I would even have considered myself a skeptic. When Monica was working on me, I could feel the energy flowing through me. After all was said and done, she was very descriptive of my aura and seemed to "get me," which definitely came as a pleasant surprise. She explained what chakras she worked on and spoke at length about things I could continue to do spiritually to maintain a balance.
