We started the day eating breakfast in salulita(where Jorge was instantly recognized by a group of girls for his role in bachelor in paradise) we then drove to San pancho and started the trip to an incredible hike to a hidden waterfall with a deep pool we could all swim in. The hike was not too long (1.5 miles) and was the perfect way to take in the jungle before cooling off with a cannonball into the waterfall pool. Once we hiked back, we stopped at a small beach restaurant for margaritas and snacks before heading home. A perfect day to explore the hidden beauty of Mexico! Thank you Jorge!

Sylvie was very easy going listener to what we wanted and made our experience custom and better than anyone else could. Plus she responded quickly! And we were booking less than 24 hours out, so that was super helpful! We did a walking tour the first day and she picked us up to drive us around the second day to spots we missed and to go outside the city. This woman has a fantastic memory and knows EVERYBODY! She is originally Canadian but speaks excellent Spanish and isn't shy. When my friend wanted a special alcohol that's hard to find, Sylvie called a friend who owned a restaurant, they opened up just for us and Sylvie took us there even though our time indicated she should be dropping us at our hotel. When she took us to Gringo Gulch, to see The actor Richard Burtons home/Hacienda San Angel (which we heard was 800-1000 a night to stay in) she made a call and got us in there for a private tour (it was just me and a friend). Sylvie was extremely personal and really becomes your friend. The first day at the walking tour it was soooo unseasonably hot that a girl in our group got heat sick and everyone was done about halfway through because we were miserable. So Sylvie rose in a cab with the girl to make sure she got back to her condo ok. We would highly recommend her. Because of the small groups and custom tours, she'll take you where you really want to go and make sure you get the best deals.

Our tour guide was amazing! She gave plenty of important and informative facts. She kept me engaged. She took pictures of every one on the tour in front of the Puerto Vallarta sign at the Malecon. We went to the Guadalupe church. She didn't go in with us but allowed time for us to look inside. We did stop at the local market which was huge. There is lots of walking but we were warned. It gave us a glimpse into the life of the nationals. Our last stop was at yet another market which was located below the former home of Elizabeth Taylor. She told us some interesting stories of the house. Overall, I enjoyed our tour guide. She happened to have a biology degree and this is her second job. International arrival had plenty of staff to process passports and bags waiting when we landed. All told it only took 15 minutes to proceed through everything. International departure is also easy. Well staffed and the entire terminal has good cold air conditioning while you wait to take off. You can even find terminal chairs that are set up as loungers to put your feet up for awhile. Negatives: No airline lounges other than the independent VIP lounge. When you arrive and get past customs, be ready to be assaulted by salespeople and taxis until you push your way through.

Apparently the PVR management just provides fake email to tourists just to get rid of you and not file an actual missing report while at the airport! WORST AIRPORT CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! We were 8 ppl total (4 were kids ranging from 1-5years old) so I rented a private van. I had requested 3 car seats since my oldest can sit in an actual seat if needed. Pickup at Airport to Hotel: We were greeted with a sign at pickup. Three diff folks in Airgo uniform was helping us with our luggage. When we got to the private van, I saw that car seats weren't loaded. We asked & they quickly went to go get some. However the seatbelt for my infant car seat wouldn't tighten. My daughters car seat wouldn't buckle. We were not impressed with the experience. Pickup at Hotel to Airport: After the first experience, I emailed specifically mentioning that I need 3 working car seats. Of course, private van showed up with one car seat only. I was so disappointed! The ride is a 20 min ride and I felt uncomfortable the entire time. I would not recommend this car transportation company.

The bus tours stop right outside although parking is tight. You can walk easily across the street to OXO or even better still, Walmart. It is super safe to walk around. Yes, that's a lot, but you're paying for the convenience. The cars are housed in a garage next door, so it's a short walk to get your vehicle. The exit / entry area is located right next to a gas station, which makes refilling the car a breeze too. We've been very happy with the cleanliness of the cars we've rented here, all automatics with good air conditioning (which to us is a must-have in PV's hot, humid climate). Always take photos and document any and all scratches, dents, etc., we've done this with a video backup and have never had any disputes or issues. This is a good, solid, and trustworthy place to rent a car if you're arriving via cruise ship in Puerto Vallarta.

The baseline cost for an automatic car was about 50 dollars with insurance for the day. Others were pressuring me into higher insurance higher car rates etc. Second, they have a delivery service of 300 pesos where they will drop off and pick up the car totally worth it if you're not close. Third, i had made the mistake thinking that I could drive stick when in fact i hadn't in a long ass time(totally bone head move on my part). And after 10 minutes realized that driving an hour and a half in a country i didn't know wasn't a good idea. I called Alma who was working that day and she totally understood and was so nice SHE DROVE ANOTHER CAR TO ME THAT WAS AUTOMATIC. She told me not to worry and she was glad i called closer to PV than in Sayulita. Her kindness made all the difference! What could have easily been a nightmare was 20 minutes fix and we were off. Having transparency and someone thats got your back is all i need when renting in another country and prestige does that well. I give a glowing recommendation and thank them times a million.
