One to the address that was given to me over the phone and another to the address that I used a year ago to cancel another Erie policy. And it was way ahead of renewal time... Nevertheless, they have the audacity to send me a harassing request to pay for those renewed policies that I asked to be terminated. They didn't cancel my policies, they didn't respond to my emails, but they will for sure keep on harassing me with unlawful request to pay for those renewed policies. If this harassment doesn't stop immediately, I will be forced to take more decisive actions. ABI Insurance Agency that works on behalf of Erie Insurance is acting more like a religious sect than an honest agency. It's easy to join them, it's impossible to leave... i put one star but really they deserve no stars. I have had this insurance for my vehicles for 10…read moremonths. up until I decided to use auto pay to make my monthly premiums I didn't have customer service issues. Once i enrolled in the autopay program, disaster struck. This problem isn't unique to just this location, I have had horrible experiences with several locations. After the first month of autopay, they had claimed I canceled my policy which wasnt true because they would have needed a signature to do so. Also, when adding a second car to my policy I was given an original quote, and then after making a payment was told I owed more money and that the original quote was wrong. It took me several phone calls that I had to initiate and no one ever returned my messages. I was given the run around. After 2 months of there irresponsible service i signed up with a different insurance company and canceled my policy with illinois vehicle in person, signing and dating documents, low and behold 1 day later they took out a payment from my checking account! I have tried calling differnet locations several times only to be hung up on. I ask myself if this is the treatment i get, just to make my monthly payments on time, what kind of issues am I going to have if I ever need to make a claim? well, i'm not sticking around long enough to find out, the rates were cheaper then the national, bigger companies but i will not give my money to a company that treats their customers like crap.
