The staff at the entrance are always busy but not to busy to greet you and give a welcoming hello and there's more than 2 people at the front desk. You are escorted to the back where you will find a dozen physical therapist doing their magic as well as a dozen patients receiving a magic dose. They do have a lot of equipment and tables to utilize and the do have a pool. Even though there are a lot of people in there, no one is bumping into each other and they are not crowding anyone's space while practicing social distancing. I see the sanitizing after ever single piece of equipment was used I wasn't to please about the escort because there was no greeting at the initial contact or introduction, the just called you're name and walked you to the back but on my 3rd visit Rebecca made me have a change of mind as she greeted me and explained everything that she was doing which made me realize that people work differently and deal with people different. The thing to keep in mind is that they have a job to do and must cater to more than 1 person at a time. My sessions has ended but if I need to vine back..... This is the place for me.

After the incident, I called Aetna insurance to make a complaint and report the incident. , They conducted an investigation, and agreed with me that I was not given the best care possible, causing an injury to a different part of my left leg. I just started working with Matt and in a matter of 2 visits he figured out what worked for me and listened to my issues and honesty of my condition and adjusted my care for my needs with having the same outcome . Again an asset to metro. The young ladies who help the OTs and PTs whether in school for this field or not are huge asset . Kind and compassionate and know how what I need . They Make it a point to get to know you or it's there nature which to me being dental hygienist clinician it's so important to know your patients. So METRO BELLMORE BEST ! Caring and understanding! It was pretty scary at first, specially being at the care of others and having to trust that they know what they're doing while being afraid of anything happening to you, again. Like falling or getting it more damaged. But the girls there have had a great deal of empathy, & have been very caring. They have a lot of patience and have cheered me on throughout my recovery journey, which has been an emotional rollercoaster as well. Today I'm walking with a boot, no pain as of yet. Amanda customized a cast for my hand and delivered treatment with the softness and tenderness my injury required. Over the past five months her in-depth knowledge and expertise in hand therapy have guided my recovery in the right direction. She provided daily home exercises and sent clear, demonstrated routines online so she could monitor my compliance and progress. Amanda's hands-on skills -- gentle but firm mobilization and therapeutic massage -- directly reduced pain and improved function. She schedules appointments reliably and remains fully focused on my progress during every session. I've observed Amanda treating many other patients with different hand conditions, and she is excellent with each person. The two physical therapists, Philip Bruno and Erica Martello are amazing! They are so knowledgeable, caring and attentive. They are aware of what you are doing at all times and make sure that you are using correct form and comfortable while performing your exercises. They make you feel that your well-being matters to them. It feels personal. Philip and Erika have an aid, Grace, who assists them. She is very pleasant, helpful and efficient. They work in sync like a band that's been playing together for years, lapping around and making sure all patients are engaged and progressing through the various treatments/exercises in their respective treatment plans. I came here in August with a ruptured Achilles that I had surgery to repair, and walked out (literally!) just a few months later, and far earlier than the surgeon had expected. That's a true testament to the time and attention everyone here gave to me, referring frequently to my chart and the well-taken notes, gradually adding weight and/or repetitions on, and mixing in new exercises when appropriate. I also really appreciated the overall vibe here. Good music is always playing (could be 90s grunge, pop country, or classic rock, depends on who takes over the playlist!) staff are all friendly with the patients and with each other, and there's a great mix of folks in here to chat with. The walls are decorated with staff photos, pics of their kids, etc. and little league team photos from the teams they sponsor! Short version: It's about as fun as physical therapy can be! She has been working with my son for over 12 months and when we first started coming here he was not even sitting independently. He is now confidently walking and running and even jumping. I can very honestly say the progress my son has made would not have happened if it wasn't for Dr. Kelly. She is amazingly sweet and the entire staff at the practice was very genuine and kind and worked with us and our insurance company to ensure we got the best care. I had physical therapy at this facility for 2 months. Within 1 month after I started, my physical…read moretherapist went out on leave, after which I was not immediately assigned to a new therapist. Instead, I had a different therapist each time I went for about 1-2 weeks, during which I spent most of the time in the sessions wondering who was working with me. On one of those days, the therapist who started a session with me went home before my session was done without saying he had reached the end of his shift. The massage portion of the sessions always seemed to be an issue. Most times I did not receive a massage unless I asked, however, there was always a charge for a massage on the billing statements. Also, on one occasion after I asked about the fact that I was not receiving massages, I was given a massage with a massage gun apparently at its highest setting. Despite being in obvious pain from the intensity of the massage gun, the therapist did not make any adjustment. A family member accompanied me and noticed that I was uncomfortable and also found it odd that the therapist was not observing my response; this seemed intentional. Also, most of the exercises during the sessions were done on my own and can be done at home.
