On my last visit September 3, 2021, I was informed I'd reached "maximum medical improvement". My diagnosis was a partial rotator cuff tear in my dominant arm. This injury left me unable to take off my own bra, my goal be able to take of my bra in the same manner as prior to the injury. Dr. Rieber informed me that even if I got a second opinion via my workers comp, the result would be the same termination of my physical therapy due to "Maximum Medical Improvement (MMI)". As he said to me "I've been a nice guy the second opinion doctor is not going to be. Do you know how much has been paid for your physical therapy?" My workers comp representative couldn't have been happier to terminate my physical therapy. I had severals session left and she immediately terminated my physical therapy. Despite his belief of that I had reached "MMI", I continued as a self paying patient with my physical therapy and on November 1, 2021 I was able to reach my goal.

From the first visit there, Dr. Lee, Sr. and Dr. Winslow made me comfortable and explained everything in detail so that I could understand. This was important to me because I'd never had surgery before. On the day of surgery, Dr. Lee made sure that I was comfortable by making jokes and keeping the air light. Surgery went extremely well and he told me they found that the meniscus was intact but out of place. Post-op, Dr. Lee and his staff have been so helpful. I also want to highlight their nurse, Dawn. I called Dawn a million times a week between getting paperwork done for work, reiteration if doctor's orders, or anything in between. Every time, Dawn has been so helpful and patient, even when she's had to repeat herself. If you're looking for an orthopedic surgeon, you've found the right one.

I met for a consultation with Beverly & immediately noticed her professionalism, kindness & real interest in my case.
