I made several calls to make payment and nobody answered. I left many voicemails asking to call back to make payment. Never received a call back until 2 months later when they call and left a message telling me there would be interest on the bill if I didn't call and arrange payment. Again, I called and left several messages. I don't have checks to write out anymore. I was looking to talk to someone about other payment options. These people used to be great!! Now I don't understand what their issue is!! They put in a sensor on my light & it died a few months later. I called they came out right away. But they sent me a bill for $100 for changing it!! No notice it would cost us. Had I known I wouldn't have had them come out!! I'd give them a negative 5 stars if it were possible!!!! read more

We needed a new outlet for our stove. We called Jake Schommer Electric and they were super responsive to getting us in their schedule. While Paul was here we asked him about an issue with blowing fuses. He gave us some options. After checking prices for needed parts he let us know the expense before moving forward to make sure it was OK. We weren't sure we'd be able to afford the fix or if we'd need to save up. Their pricing was GREAT and we not only fixed our stove outlet but also fixed our electric box fuse issue! It was completely affordable with great service. I felt comfortable having Paul in our home while my husband was at work. He even work a mask to help us feel comfortable! No service huge bill!!!! Had a repair man come out to my house to fix a ceiling fan. Could have done it myself but didn't want to climb on a ladder. He took a look at it and said he didn't have any parts with him. Sent me over to the internet to google what parts were needed. I would have thought a competent electrician would have carried certain basic things with him. Essentially I felt like I was researching what was needed and then was expected to order it. He did nothing! So after about 15 minutes he left and told me to call him when the part came in. When I received the part I called a competent electrician and it was installed in 5 minutes. Schommer sent me a bill for $80 for doing nothing other than having me google the problem and order the part. No confidence in this company. read more
